59. "It never happened"

May was almost over when David was watching TV alone in his room. Ilya was out for the week and his two assistants now were grocery shopping and Natalie. Well, Natalie was over at Todd's. Again.

David had handled their relationship, or whatever it is they called it, really well. He felt really proud of how unbothered he seemed when Nat was talking about Todd. But only he knew how jealous he felt knowing that he is cuddling with her instead of him.

Natalie burst into the room. She quietly run into her room and hopes David was asleep. She locked herself into the room, but David heard the noise and got scared. "Nat?" no response. "Ilya?" He said and the immediately stood up. He wanted to make sure that it was just his assistants that came back.

As he was walking to the living room he noticed Natalie's door closed. His heart started beating in normal beat again. "Nat, are you okay?"

Natalie heard him talk and wiped her tears. "Yeah" she texted Corinna. She didn't want to cry about Todd to her, but Corinna was right. Todd is a good guy but not a keeper.

When it got darker outside, she walked to the kitchen to grab something to eat. When she numbed into David, she had to inform him that it was over.

David didn't know if he should be happy or not. While he did feel relieved that Nat opened up her eyes and saw that she has low standards but on the other hand "over"? That means that they dated?!

He walked around the kitchen island and gave her a hug. "I don't want to tell you I told you so but-"

"You did. I'm sorry I don't know what got me. He's really sweet and good looking and-"

"Okay I think I know what got you" David said jealous that she liked Todd. And even after that very obvious sign that he's into her, Nat just laughed and walked back to the living room. "Do you wanna talk about it?" David asked while he followed her to the sofa.

"No" she nodded and grabbed the remote control.

"Thank God" he laughed as he felt relieved. He only asked out of kindness, talking about Todd and Nat was a nightmare to him. But once again she didn't notice a thing.

"Wanna watch something?" She said and without waiting for an answer she put on No Strings Attached. "Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher?! I think yes" she smiled at her friend.

"Natalie we've watched it like a hundred times already" he said knowing how this movie made him feel. Because Natalie Portman reminded him of Natalie and Ashton reminded him of himself, this movie hit differently.

"It's a classic" she said trying to make him watch it with her, because she wanted to feel better. This couple reminded her of them so much too, so she always thought of her and Dave when watching the movie.

An hour into the movie, Natalie crawled closer to David and rested her head on his shoulder. While both of their hearts started beating faster nobody said anything. They stayed still for the rest of the movie. David was scared to move not to make her move and Nat was shy to make the next move.

Once the movie ended she turned to David. Their heads were super close. "Dave" she whispered feeling extra hot. She wanted to do this, she hadn't had sex in months and her and David were always so close to kissing.

"Nat" his voice cracked because he knew he couldn't resist himself.

"I'm thinking" she raised her leg and sat on top of his lap.
"I don't know if that's a good idea" his eyes followed her hands. She wanted to look so confident but her hands were shaking.
"I think it's a brilliant idea. Don't tell me you've never thought of it" she wanted to be sexy and she could.
"Nat please don't do this" he avoided eye contact with her. He was so turned on, he couldn't do a wrong move. "I'm not going to do this just because you broke up with your boyfriend"

"He's not me boyfriend David" she said bothers that she even had to clarify that. She had a crush on David for the longest time and he's never figured it out. "And even if he was, do this with me" she raised a little her t-shirt showing him her abs. "Do this for me, no one will ever know" she whispered in his ear and he got goosebumps on his body.

As much as he wanted to have sex with Natalie he wouldn't do it knowing that it's a one night thing. He had feelings that would never go away. And typically Natalie felt the same way, but now, she was so turned on she was ready to risk it and just do this. She knew that the rest of their lives would be hard, but she would at least have done this.

"Natalie I don't wanna have a one night stand with you and then wake up the next morning and not being able to even look at each other" he still avoided looking at her knowing that he would kiss her right away.

"Okay I won't. I won't look at you tomorrow morning and I'll act like it never happened like it was just a dream" she rubbed her thighs on his. "Dave I can't believe I'm begging you" she awkwardly laughed.

She got up and straightened her clothes. "Sorry" she touched her cheeks that were pink and also really hot from the embarrassment but also from him and how sexy he was.

David got up and grabbed her waist. He kissed her cheek and his hands dropped and grabbed her butt. "I really really would want to do this Nat" he rested his head on her shoulder while his hands were still on her butt.

"What's stopping you?" She run her hands through this hair and then underneath his t-shirt.

"Ugh, nothing" he kissed her neck and lifted her. He made it to his bedroom where he let her on the bed. He grabbed her head and right before he kissed her lips he said "it never happened".

"It never happened" she managed to whisper right before he locked his lips onto hers.
