Six months. That's how long it's been since you last saw Taylor. You've been waiting for this day since she left.

It felt like time had crawled by, every day without her feeling like torture. But you both made it through and today you were finally gonna be reunited.

You couldn't wait, counting down every minute until her plane lands until it finally came.

You looked around for the head of blonde hair that you so missed running your fingers through, the piercing blue eyes that always gazed into yours that took your breath away, the pair of lips that you missed pressing onto yours that made it feel like no one else in the world existed.

You stood on your tiptoes as you looked across the crowded airport. Everyone was bumping into one another, some even bumping into you, but everyone else in the room disappeared when you saw her face.

There she was looking back at you. Right in the middle of the airport, both of you frozen on your feet, completely in awe of how beautiful the other looked.

Reality hit you quickly that she was back and you ran across the airport shoving past everyone as Taylor dropped her bags on the ground before you leaped right into her arms.

She twirled you around as you both laughed a little. You tucked your face in her neck and giggled, her hands clutching your back as you both focused purely on each other.

"oh my, I missed you so much." She muttered in your ear. You pulled away from her neck and kissed her, not caring that people around you were staring and probably a few of them capturing the moment.

All you could focus on was Taylor. Her hands, her lips, her.

It was all too much and it felt so surreal that she was back with you that you cried a little, Taylor's thumbs wiping away your tears while she pressed her forehead on yours.

"I missed you so much, Tay."

She smiled and kissed your forehead, gazing into your eyes making your knees feel wobbly.

"I missed you so much more. I love you."

She gently placed you back on your feet before grabbing your hand and intertwining her fingers with yours as you both carried her bags out to the car.

The whole way home Taylor talked about all the fun adventures she had barely letting you get a word in edgewise.

You didn't mind though. She was holding your hand so tightly and her voice was like music to your ears. It was good to have her back and you weren't planning on letting go of her again for a while.
