It was something that had been weighing on your mind for a while now and when you decided to get one, Taylor promised she'd be by your side when you got it.
As you stood looking at the tattoo on your phone, Taylor stood anxiously behind you. It was as if she was more nervous than you were and you couldn't help but find it absolutely adorable.
"Tay?"
You walked up to her and grabbed both of her hands in yours, giggling at the concerned expression on her face.
"Are you sure you wanna do this y/n? Absolutely positive? You know once you get it it's stuck on your body forever. I just don't want you to regret it."
You smiled at her and leaned up to kiss her cheek, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I'm sure, Taylor. Trust me I won't regret it. I've thought about this for a while now and I really wanna do it. You don't have to go back with me baby, I'll be fine."
She shook her head and kissed your temple before asking you about the tattoo and where you were gonna get it.
You could faintly hear the sound of the needle, Taylor holding one of your hands in hers as the tattoo artist held the other to keep it still as he began to tattoo your wrist.
Taylor kept whispering encouragements into your ear, kissing your hand softly as she tried to keep you calm.
Once it was done you couldn't help but admire the tattoo on your skin.
It was a flower and even though the skin was red and sore, it looked beautiful and you couldn't help but fall in love with it. Taylor took a couple pictures of it on her phone before grabbing your wrist in her hands gently, admiring the tattoo and you.
"Do you like it?" You asked her and instead of immediately responding, she just stared at it with a smile on her face.
"I love it. It's gorgeous, just like you." She kissed your cheek and ran her thumb over the tattoo carefully, not wanting to hurt you. "And here I was thinking I couldn't fall even more in love with you, but damn, was I ever wrong."
