7: I'm home

"Good morning... Ma'am Syn" Cindy's voice wasn't audible as soon as she saw Syn who was facing the right side of her office, outside the window; it was raining outside so it was a bit foggy but she can see the clouds were dark and murky just like her.

Syn came back to reality when her tear fell down her left eye. She composed her self and looked at Cindy, a bit startled with her presence.

"Oh? Good morning. Anong meron?"

"Ma'am today may nakasched pong meeting pero pinacancel po ni Sir Rio. Ayaw niya po munang may isipin kayo" Cindy says.

She felt helpless.

She felt so bad for herself for loving him so badly... For wanting her to be part of his life.

She felt like dying---No, she wanted to die.

Cyrus was her whole life and now, she's left all alone. It's been a week already and she's missing the way he makes her smile.

She smirked and retouched her make up. She made sure her formal attire was not messed up before telling Cindy to call the LSIU's Program Facilitator.

"Oh my God, it's Attorney Synthia Rey!"

"I heard every school na ginagawa siyang speaker guaranteed na napapasok sa bar examinations."

"I heard may oral recitation na ang seminar na to. Sabi din daw your answers must be concrete kaya naman when you please her, girl, I'm sure you can do the board exam and pass it."

She heard that, of course. She smiled to reduce the tension her students are building up between them.

"Hello everyone, my name is Atty. Synthia Rey Fortrera and today... I'll be reviewing you---Yes, I am here for your seminar to review all of you. Please, don't be intimidated by my presence. You are the future lawyers of this country and soon, who knows? We'll meet inside the court and you'll be handling different cases so bare with me."

Everybody smiles at her, so does Syn.

The seminar slash semester review went on. She gave 5 questions each and was impressed with the students, they answered all of her questions and gave her examples as per instruction.

The last student was about to give her last example when her phone rang.

She immediately turned her phone to vibrate mode. She then turned to her student with a smile, "Go on" she says.

Her phone vibrated. She didn't mind.

"For the fifth one, Attorney, uhhh... If there are two people wishing to end their marriage, they only have limited options. They can file for legal separation since divorce is illegal here. Legal separation allows them to live apart and separate properties but does not allow remarriage." The student says. She was about to say her remarks when her phone rang... Again.
