The night was deep and perfect for Rio to mourn over his aching heart. Rio was sulking on the bar counter and he felt like sinking to the ground as he held the ring he took off from Synthia's hand. A lady in black went to him and tried to take advantage of his state, "You look lonely." she said and sat down next to him.

"I'm alone but I'm not lonely." Rio uttered and wished the lady was gone. She seemed to be so determined in flirting with Rio. "Talaga? I can tell." she said with pure sarcasm. Rio looked at the lady as she snaked an arm around his shoulder, "If you're trying to make a fool out of me, please just go find another man." said Rio. As if on cue, his phone rang and showed Dawn's number.

(I'm sorry to interrupt you, Rio, but Nio is crying. Gusto niya na daw makita ang mommy at daddy.) Dawn's voice could tell the worry. "Akala ko ba pumunta siya diyan?" he asked with a scratch on his forehead. (Cyrus texted, mukhang kinailangan ata siya dun sa bahay nila.) with a sigh, Rio dropped the phone call and paid his shots. He walked straight to the door and hailed a taxi. He couldn't blame Synthia for going back to Cyrus right away and tell him that they're through. He was at Dawn's doorstep and his car was parked on the driveway which he thought she used to go to Cyrus.

Dawn opened the door, "Rio..." her eyes were sentimental.

"D-daddy!" Nio called out and ran to him, "Where'th mommy?" he looked behind his daddy, still clueless of what happened earlier between his sets of parents. "Thank you so much. Get your things na, boo, uwi na tayo." Nio went back in to get his backpack and his other things leaving Dawn and Rio. She handed him Syn's belongings "Your wife dropped her things earlier."

Rio looked at her wallet and he knew exactly what was in it.

"I hope you can still fix this."

"I don't think I can. She gave up almost everything for him tonight."

"Pansamantalang kaligayahan lang yang si Cyrus, Rio. I firmly believe that you are the one for my cousin."

"But I think you're wrong. Let's stop the act, destiny keeps on making its way for the both of them. Ako na ang bibigay."

"So you spent 4 years with her for nothing? Siya ang nagmakaawang pakasalan ka at kailangan niyang panindigan iyon. I hope you claim your right back."

They could hear Nio's steps from inside so they quickly broke the tension and pretended like nothing serious was happening. Nio kissed Dawn goodbye and they went straight inside the car. Just as Nio was about to lock the seat belt on his baby chair at the back, he roamed his eyes around the car and saw no signs of mommy "Where'th mommy?" he asked.

Rio was quite reluctant of the answer "She's probably home now, buddy."

"Yey!"

"You look tired. You can sleep on our way home."

"I'm dithy but I want to thee mommy."

"You can see her in the morning."

Rio was dozing off as they were on their way home. He has no idea where and when Syn will be back and Nio wants to see her before he goes to sleep. As he parked the car in the garage, he could see that no one was waiting home for the both of them. The doors were closed and the whole house was dim. Rio thought the little boy was off to dreamland so when he placed him on his bed, Nio got back up and rubbed his eyes with a yawn.

"Mommy?"

"It's Daddy. Mommy still has some work downstairs and she said go to sleep na."

"I want to go in her offith."
