20: Her son's father

"Nako, Synthia, Danzel is taking this year's bar examination for licensure! Naks naman talaga, si Atty. Fortrera ang inspiration!" Sharon said and took a bite of her caviar cake. It was just Lea, Sharon and Syn inside the VIP Room of Luviere (a famous multi-branch restobar)

"The Nationwide-licensed cousin Lawyer. Gusto kasing sumunod sa mga yapak ni Ate Synthia niya. Oh speaking of Danzel, here she comes!" Lea said and waved at Danzel Yang, one of Syn's closest cousin at her mid 20's. Danzel ran towards them.

"Nape-pressure ako sa inyo, mga te! Eng. Salonga is here," Danzel looked at Lea and laughed, then to Sharon "Madame CEO is here," she added and finally looked at Syn. She squealed and hugged her "Attorney is here! Oh my gosh! Ate Syn!" Syn laughed upon hearing her cousin.

"St. Bernard Barkada, 3/7! Mabuti at malakas kami diyan sa pinsan mo! Muntik ko nang hindi maimbita ha. Hindi ko mareach ang fame" Sharon teased and laughed. Danzel hugged Sharon again.

"Ako din, Ninang. Hindi ko siya macontact! Private masyado tong si Atty. Nationwide eh" Danzel answered. Syn laughed and laughed. "Lasing na ata 'to, tawa ng tawa. Ipapasundo na kita kay Rio" Lea said and pulled out her iPhone.

Syn rolled her eyes and drank her drink. It was vodka, she remembered.

"Ay sweet naman! si Arch. Ravena na talaga ang magsusundo ha." Danzel nudged Syn. She smiled and drank another shot.

Lea hit Danzel's arm, "Mag-asawa nga diba?" Danzel realized that and she laughed.

Syn looked at her watch, "It's already 10 PM. It's a big day tomorrow---your big day, Ate Sha" she said and got her stuffs inside. Sharon leaned her back on the sofa, "Nakakainis! Aalis na naman the day after my wedding si Synthia!" She said. Lea laughed and helped her stand up.

"Ate Syn, you okay?" Danzel asked as she saw her limping on her way out.

"I'm drowsy but I can manage" she said and composed her self.

"Hoy kayong dalawa, uminom muna tayo ng coffee before tayo umuwi." Lea called out. They agreed and waited for them.

Finally, they were already out of the restobar. Sharon was about to go to her car which they used all the way here. But then they saw a car coming towards their direction. Synthia immediately composed her self as the car parked in front of them.

"Hi Rio!" The three women chorused. Syn smiled and went close to the window for a kiss, "Tinawagan ka talaga ni Lea?" She asked, laughing.

"Nope. Guts ko na lang, alam kong lalasingin ka nila eh" he laughed.

Lea looked offended, "Bwiset! Kami pa talaga ang lalasing dito? Okay ka din eh no?" Sharon agreed upon hearing Rio "Grabe ka sa amin, Rio. Na-miss lang namin, iuuwi naman namin tong hindi intoxicated! Nakakaloka"

"Hindi intoxicated" Rio mimicked Sharon, he looked unconvinced but he's just joking. He laughed and looked at Danzel, "Sinama niyo pa si Danzel dito" he added.

"Daddy? Are we there yet?" A little voice coming from the backseat. Rio looked back, surprised to see his son awake.

"Whereth mom?" He sniffed and searched the car, "Mommy? Where are you?" He cried which was not visible through the heavily tinted backseat window but rather his sobs were audible.

"Sino yun?" Lea asked and looked at Rio; Rio looked at Syn.

"You brought him with you?" Syn asked and immediately opened the backseat door. Rio scratched the back of his head and let out a nervous laugh, "Ayaw kasi paiwan sa bahay with the Nanny. Pero natutulog na yan on our way here, nagising lang" he explained.
