"YOU PULLED HIS SWEATS DOWN?!!" Xavier exclaimed as I tackled him back and covered his mouth.

Everyone on the team who were stretching looked at us as I nervously smiled, indicating them not to worry.

The ones who heard loud and clear gave me a weirded out look as I looked down to my best friend.

"Keep your voice down" I whispered as he rolled his eyes. I removed my hand and got off of him.

"But Paige!" He shrieked as I gave him a warning look and stretched my arm.

He gulped, I knew this was too much for him to handle. I should've told him in private.

"What else happened?" He asked as he stretched his legs.

"Nothing, I apologized like an idiot and walked back towards the school" I said as I switched arms.

"Is that why you guys were acting weird in Napoleons class?" He asked indicating sixth hour and caught up to today's actions.

"Yes, now please don't say anything to him. I don't think I can bare to look at him, be in the same room as him or talk to him for awhile" I said as he nodded.

"I promise" he said as I stood up and stretched my legs.

"Alright gather in kids" Elmore said as we all rolled our eyes at the name he called us but obliged to his orders.

Practice ended a little earlier than usual because Elmore said and I quote,

"I'm not like a regular coach. I'm a 'cool' coach"

We just agreed with him because we all wanted to go home. He waved us off as we walked to the student parking lot.

"I'll see you on Monday, don't have too much fun without me" Xavier hugged me. I smiled into his embrace and wrapped my arms around his waist.

It was starting to sprinkle as he pulled my hood up, he was the best, best friend ever.

"No promises but I'll see you Monday" I said as we unwrapped from the hug. He smiled cheekily as I caught up to his act but was too late as he tugged on the strings of my hoodie.

It closed around my head as I smiled, "Ha Ha very funny" I said sarcastically as he fixed my hood.

"Bye Swishy" he said and kissed my forehead before running off to meet his father. I watched as they drove off, John shooting a small glare at me as he did so.

I shrugged, I sometimes couldn't tell if John liked me or not but I didn't really care. It was either because I never went to church or because I was 'corrupting' Xavier's mind but in reality he was the one doing it to me.

I threw my bags in the back and hopped in the driver seat. I plugged in my earphones but kept an ear open because... safety, duh.

I pressed on the same playlist I listened to with Jungkook and began driving home, I also kept my hood on, it was too comfortable.

I arrived home, too into the Daniel Caesar song that played. This time I put both earbuds in my ear as I parked in my usual spot.

I grabbed my bags from the back occupied on my phone as I searched for a new song. I closed my car door and walked on the path that lead to the front of my house. 

I opened the door and entered, closing it behind me. I set my car keys on the table and turned around as Rocket jumped onto me.

"Hey bud" I smiled as I kneeled down to his level and scratched him behind his ears.

I kissed his head and walked up the stairs then to my room ignoring the loud inhuman sounds coming from the living room.

I set my school and practice bag down and prepared for a shower. I took off my hoodie and threw it on the floor then kicked off my shoes next.

I unplugged my earphones and plugged my phone into its charger then set it on my nightstand.

I went into my closet and picked out grey nike sweat shorts and an old long black basketball shirt I kept from last season.

After I took my long but needed shower, I got dressed in the clothes I laid out on the counter.

I walked to my bed and flopped myself onto it, curling up into my blankets and pillows, I sighed in approval and closed my eyes.

I heard my phone go off as I groaned, who dares to interrupt my slumber? I sat up and grabbed my phone.

I immediately smiled when I saw that it was my mom who texted me,

[Mama💕: Your gummies are in the pantry with the cereal, I hid them for you from the boys. See you soon, love you❤️>

I texted her back quickly with a thank you and told her that I loved her more, because if you couldn't tell, I'm my mothers favorite child, it's pretty obvious.

I smiled, my mom bought me gummies but it turned to a frown when I remembered that there are two teenage males in my house.

I intended on staying in my room to avoid them but I was hungry.

Solitude or food?

My stomach growled as I sighed, "Food it is"

I put on some nike socks and opened my door, I looked down the hall then walked towards the stairs.

I made my way quietly into the kitchen, and I could still hear the two teenage boys in the living room.

I rolled my eyes at my brothers girly screech and grabbed a vitamin water from the fridge.

They better not be this loud all weekend, if they are then I'm going to go crazy for sure.

I grabbed my gummies from the cabinet and opened the small colorful bag, I couldn't wait any longer to eat them.

I put a red and blue gummy worm in my mouth and turned around to go back up to my room.

As I rounded the corner that leads into the hall and goes into the living room I bumped into something hard.

I looked up to see who or what the hard thing was and my eyes widened. It was the last man on earth that I expected to be at my house, let alone stay for the whole weekend.

It was Jungkook. What was he doing in my house? Was he my brothers new best friend?

He smiled down at me taking in my expression as I stared at him in shock. He looked at my eyes then to my lips that had the gummy sticking out of it.

He grabbed it as my mouth and stuck it in HIS mouth. He smiled as he stared down at me with the worm sticking out.

I stared at him, why did he act so normal after what happened and why did he take my candy?

"Jungkook, you good?" I heard Lucas call out as I looked past him to the living room and back into his eyes.

He winked with a smirk and turned around, walking back to the living room. I stayed there, shook.

He just took the gummy that was in my mouth and smiled as he ate it, then he winked at me and left.

I groaned then tilted my head up, this is going to be the longest and most punishing weekend ever.
