Jungkook seemed to really want to get to know me because we didn't stop talking until the last hour of the day.

I appreciated him not giving up and telling me to shut up while I talked. I told him everything he wanted to know.

Xavier's father, John picked him up because he had an appointment so it was just me and him.

Jungkook and I still talked as we walked out of school. He stayed silent and listened.

I kind of felt sorry for him, he was hearing me talk nonstop about my boring life.

"I've ran in cross country my whole life. I'm kind of surprised that I'm not tired of it yet" I smiled, it felt good to say that.

"I have to see you run, I got to see how fast you actually are" Jungkook smiled as I blushed.

As we walked I saw Gavin and Lucas talking, while they threw a football to another guy. They've always been friends and couldn't seem to find an opportunity to where they wouldn't show off their skills.

I rolled my eyes, I could see them looking at us.

"I should play a sport as well" Jungkook spoke up noticing my change of emotion.

"Oh yeah, like what?" I asked, he seemed like a contact sport kind of dude.

"Football" he answered with a small yet hopeful smile.

I daydreamed about it. I smiled when I saw him in the whole uniform with shoulder pads and everything, then him walking into school while wearing his jersey for away games, and finally running down the field with his teammates.

"But I don't know" he frowned, interrupting my thoughts.

"What?! Why not?" I asked as we stopped.

I would love to see him play along with Lucas, I'm sure they could become good friends.

"I'm not sure if the sport is right for me," he gave a nervous smile.

I opened my mouth to say something when all that came out was a gasp when I saw a football being hurled towards us.

Within a blink of an eye Jungkook turned around and caught it. I gasped in amazement as he turned towards me, holding the ball.

"Well... there's your sign" I said as he smiled widely.

He turned back towards Gavin who obviously threw it, he had shock written all over his face while Lucas laughed at him.

Jungkook gripped the ball while leaning his arm back and threw it towards Gavin, I was impressed by his arm.

Gavin gulped trying to prepare himself as he caught it, almost flying back in the process.

"The team could definitely use you, you should go to tryouts" I said when he turned around to face me again.

"You really think so?" He asked.

"I know so. You have a good arm" I complimented as I punched his right arm, he blushed and smiled.

"What position are you thinking of playing?" I asked as we began walking again.

"Maybe wide receiver but I'm not sure" he answered.

"My brother Lucas is a wide receiver I'm sure you can do it" I smiled reassuringly at him.

"Ok, I'll do it" he smiled as I cheered.

We began walking again, I actually wanted to get to know him more but I had to get my stuff ready for tomorrow's tryouts.

"I want to get to know you too" I spoke up.

"I'm pretty boring, you wouldn't want to get to know me" he chuckled.

"I'm sure you're not boring" I smiled, "My life was boring but you still listened"

"Your life isn't boring, you have good stories and a nice background. You wouldn't like to hear mine" he said as I frowned.

We stopped beside my car, he liked walking me.

"I promise you that I won't find you boring" I said as I stuck out my pinky.

He smiled, "Promise?" He asked sticking out his pinky and raising his eyebrow.

"I promise" I smiled as we intertwined pinkies, I still used it to this day as a foundation of trust.

Once our skin touched I felt goosebumps and my heart started to race like the first time when we shook hands. What is happening?

We let go and suddenly I felt empty again. All those emotions went away, I felt sad but it had to be.

"Okay, I'll pick you up and we could get coffee?" He asked, I wonder if he felt the same thing I did.

I snapped out of my thoughts, "Oh yeah, sure"

He nodded and smiled, "Can I have your number then?" He blushed.

I smiled and nodded getting out my phone, why was he so cute?

I handed him my phone and he handed his to me. We had the same, the black matte iPhone 7 Plus.

I typed in my name and number. I added my favorite emoji with the contact as well.

I handed it back to him as he handed mine back. I looked at the name,

'Jungoo'

We both chuckled at the same time, he was so cute. I looked up at him as he was already looking at me.

He has to stop doing that, he makes me like him more and more.

"Well, text me" I said as he nodded 

"Of course" he smiled, "I'll talk to you later Paige".

"Bye" I smiled as he walked off to his own car

I got in my car and started it, throwing my bag in the passenger seat. I leaned my head on the steering wheel.

I sighed and shifted my gear into drive to start my journey back home.

I laid in bed, it was the closest to comfy I could get in this house.

I heard a ding on my phone and grabbed it really quick.

It was from Jungkook.

<Jungoo: Hey Paige]
[Me: Hey, Jungoo>

Was it enough to keep the conversation going? I didn't want it to be too dry and at the same time I didn't want it to be too needy, if that makes sense.

Another ding dragged me out of my thoughts. I lifted up my phone,

<Jungoo: I was wondering where you wanted to have coffee at]

Oh yeah the promise he made about me of getting to know him better.

[Me: Well there's this one small cafe that I love. It's called Sweetz. They have the best iced coffee in town>

<Jungoo: Alright, do you want me to pick you up?]

I though about it, I didn't want to risk my dad seeing him. I decided to decline.

[Me: No, I'll meet you there. Maybe next time>
<Jungoo: Alright, I have to go and help my annoying brothers now]
[Me: Well have fun, bye Jungkook>
<Jungoo: See you tomorrow Paige, bye]

I locked my phone and sighed, even texting him made me want to see him more. I couldn't wait till tomorrow.
