PAIGE;
"So we all should know that on Friday we're having a meet with a different yet new school... Riverview high" Coach announced and looked at me.I let out a forced sigh and clenched my jaw, this was the only meet I was dreading. The others looked at me as I rolled my eyes and looked away.
"Silverton is going to their school for the first time so I don't want you guys acting like fools" He added as I scoffed.
You should tell them to not act like a fools.
Xavier nudged me as I looked at him, he gave me a reassuring nod as I sighed.

I was sitting beside the window, listening to my favorite playlist. Xavier sat beside me and left me to brood.
I wasn't exactly looking forward to this meet since the season started. Last night I couldn't sleep because of it.
This meet was taking place in the middle of a school day so my family couldn't come, and I really needed their support.
We arrived at Riverview high and I sighed. I grabbed my bags and tucked my phone into my jacket pocket which was Jungkook's favorite hoodie.
I had to have a piece of him to support me at this god forbidden school.
Xavier playfully bumped into me when we stepped off the bus. I sighed and gave him a small smile.
As we walked down the path towards the field I saw them.
Heaven and Nevaeh Johnson, they both looked at me and gave me a disgusting look.
I stopped and groaned, wanting to turn around and get back on the bus until Xavier pushed me forwards.
"Just ignore them" Xavier slung his hands on my shoulders and stirred me away from them.
"They're just jealous" He added as I rolled my eyes.
I scoffed as we continued walking. We made it to our tent and settled down. I laid down on the grass and decided to take a short nap.
Okay let me fill you in.
Nevaeh and Heaven were my best friends in elementary school, not so much for Xavier because he couldn't stand them.
The twins and I were in cross country together and won meets after meets because we were the fastest.
After middle school they were going to move and attend Riverview for freshmen year and they both begged me to attend as well.
I actually considered it until my parents told me 'no'. They both said I already had a good relationship with the coaches at Silverton and I wouldn't get that at Riverview.
When I told them they both turned on me for something so stupid. They said I 'jeopardized' their chances of going to state like I was the main cause of it.
As you could tell this really pissed me off that I broke off our years worth of friendship right when we were promoting.
I'm sure they hate me a lot because instead of their school, I was making mine more popular.
This is the first time in about four years that I was seeing them again and I wasn't looking forward to it at all.

I took off Jungkook's hoodie and stuffed it in my bag to be in my sweats and uniform. I sat down with my fellow runners and stretched, doing anything to get them out of my mind. I could tell that the lower class men were talking about me before I sat down.
