I sighed in frustration before tossing and turning in my bed. I threw my blanket off of me before laying on my side in a colder spot.

I groaned and laid back in the position I was in before.

Why can't I sleep?

I figured that after today's practice, sleep was sure to come for me, and boy was I wrong. Before I could suffocate myself with my pillow, my phone dinged.

<Jeongguk💕: Hey]

I smiled, why was he texting me so early in the morning?

[Me: Hello Kook>
<Jeongguk💕: I can't sleep, you want to do something?]

It was obvious that I couldn't sleep either, I looked up at the time and it was almost five in the morning.

I couldn't help but frown when I realized how long it's been since Jungkook and I last hung out.

We were both busy. I had basketball and he had his brothers to worry about. Gavin was unrelenting when it came to Jungkook and his family.

Gavin, being the headass he is, really went out of his way to bring a church mob to parade outside of Jungkook's house gates.

[Me: Like what?>
<Jeongguk💕: Anything, I just need to get my mind off of things]

I felt bad for Jungkook since I haven't really been there for him like a good girlfriend was supposed to be. I thought to myself before responding.

Usually when I'm under stress I go for a walk or a hike.

[Me: Want to go for an early morning hike? I know a trail and the perfect place that's stress free]
<Jeongguk💕: Sounds good, I'll see you in a couple minutes then❤️]
[Me: I'll meet you by the cattle guard>
<Jeongguk💕: Ok, I'll be there]

I turned off my phone and sat up from bed, I sighed and looked around. Am I really going to sneak out for a hike with Jungkook?

Looks like it.

I stood up and looked down to see what I was wearing.

I wore grey Nike leggings and a black long sleeve shirt. I shrugged, it will have to do. I slipped on my running shoes and tied them.

I left my hair down and grabbed my water bottle and phone. I tiptoed out of my room and down the stairs.

It was still pretty early so no one was up or getting ready. It was also Saturday so everyone was going to sleep in.

I walked out of my house and closed the door carefully. I walked down the dirt road and towards the cattle guard.

I smiled widely once I saw Jungkook. He was leaning on his car while looking in my direction.

I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around his broad shoulders.

"Hello love" he spoke as my heart melted.

"Hello"

Jungkook and I were walking and talking about anything and everything. I noticed that we were almost to the perfect place.

"So, how'd you find this place?" Jungkook asked as we walked side by side.

"I found it accidentally when I was running, it's really beautiful. I haven't shown it to anyone before" I smiled thinking about it.
