PAIGE;
The day was finally here. Our first home game.

Our season opener is against one of our rival schools, Lee High.

I grimaced at the name but excitement overpowered it. I had an "enemy" on the team.

We were the same, we grew up together, played ball together and one day she turned on me.

Her name was Sydney, even her name gets me mad. But I haven't given her a chance to spite me yet.

After all, I was better than her.

I continued to watch the tip-off of the junior varsity game, I was getting antsy. I just wanted to play already.

My teammate and one of my best friends, Gabbi, nudged me, "You alright?"

I let all of my thoughts and troubles leave me once she asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Of course" I answer, "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well, you are usually the first one to ask for all of us to take a picture, it's like your first game tradition" she says as I 'oh'.

"Right, sorry, I'm just excited" I say as she laughs but nods.

"I know, basketball is your life" she pats my back and stands up, "Now let's go take pictures"

She walks down the bleachers as I stay sitting. I smiled once the small crowd of people cheered when our side made a layup.

I sighed but stood to get dressed in my jersey and shorts.

I entered the locker room to already see everyone dressed or getting dressed. I walked over to my corner and opened my locker.

I sighed in content when I saw my grey jersey, my favorite number colored in blue. I smiled and changed.

For today's shoes I wore my 'Tiffany's', my aqua Kyrie 3's. They were usually my go to and they're my favorite pair.

"Ready?" Gabbi asks as I fix my shorts and nod.

We all walk out of the locker room and into the hallway. From there, you could hear the buzzer going off as well as the sport announcer talk.

"Paige first" Someone says, I think it was Bucky.

My assumption was correct when I see her smiling while handing me a ball.

"Okay Paige, look over here" Kennedy, the photographer of our friend group, says. The others stand beside her as she takes the picture.

I hold up the ball and smile while the others smile along with me. Once she takes it, I walk over and look at it.

I nod in confirmation that I like it and smile at her

I nod in confirmation that I like it and smile at her.

"I'll send it to you" she says as I thank her and walk off. I go back into the locker room and sigh.

"The last first game of my high school career" I whisper and sit down.

It's going to be a good one. After all, Jungkook promised me he was going to be here.

I smiled, he's all I'll ever need.

JUNGKOOK;
My brothers and I entered the almost packed gym for the first home basketball game of the season.

I looked to the court and saw the home and away team warming up. I saw Paige and her friends shooting around.

A J.Cole song was blaring from the gym speakers as I saw and heard her muttering to it. I smiled, she was too cute.

I followed my brothers as they walked towards the bleachers and sat in the middle.

Yoongi and I were the most excited ones to say the least. I kept my eyes on her as she made layups and free throws with her team.

I watched as Paige was open on the three point line that was above the key, she had her hands open and set her feet.

Her teammate hurled the ball in her possession as she caught it with ease.

"Pop that!" I heard Yoongi exclaim beside me as he put three fingers in the air along with everyone else on the stands.

She shot it and it went in with a, 'swish'.

Everyone who was rooting for the home side cheered. I did too, she was quick and smart.

"Yeah! Way to go Paige!" I heard Jin yell, he was proud of her. I smiled at his reaction, he wasn't big on sports until he found out that she was an athlete.

Paige turned around and ran down the court with the rest of her team ready to play defense on the ball.

She stood at the point with her right hand blocking the other girls shot and her left towards the ground so she couldn't dribble away.

She stepped back and once the other team passed the ball she hit it towards the home teams basket and ran after it. The other girls trailed after her, but she was faster than all of them.

She grabbed the ball and ran towards the basket while dribbling it. Once she got close enough she took two steps and did a right hand layup.

Everyone cheered again as she ran down the other end.

Paige has the ball again and ran down the court, the defensive girls were tired but one trailed behind her.

I remember Paige telling me about her, her sworn basketball enemy. The girl always tried to one-up Paige but Paige was always the winner at the end.

Paige halted to a stop at the three point line.

"Look out!" Namjoon yelled then covered his mouth in embarrassment.

Paige put the ball down as the girl jumped in the air swinging her arm but failed when she realized what happened.

"Gotch ya ass" Yoongi smiled, he was proud of her as well.

Paige dribbled the ball once and stepped back to take the three-point shot. Everyone went silent as the ball flew and the last quarter was ending.

It went in as the crowd erupted, Paige's team cheered and ran to their side. They all gave each other high fives and got in a huddle.

They cheered out the other's team mascot and they did the same.

I kept my eyes on Paige as she got in line, they gave the other team high fives. She nodded at them each individually.

She never let her pride get in the way of her good sportsmanship. I smiled, she was too good for me.

They gave high fives or fist bumps to the sports announcer and the people who kept score.

They walked into their locker room as everyone was getting ready to leave.

We walked down the bleachers. We all met at the bottom, along with everyone around us trying to get out of the gym.

Yoongi sighed and stretched, "Damn. She's really good" he said

"Yeah, how many points did she make?" Taehyung asked

"She made 24 points. 5 three pointers, 4 layups and one free throw" I smiled, I had to keep track.

That's what good boyfriends did, right?
