Every year when it's basketball season, the varsity boy and girl players have to attend and help at the annual Halloween festival for elementary students.

Every player tends to a different booth and I always had the same one since I was a freshman, which is face painting.

I opened my car door and hopped out. I looked at Coles elementary school and smiled, it was the same school I went to.

"Swishy, lets go!" Cole whined as I snapped out of my trance.

I chuckled, "Ok ok" I said and closed the door.

I opened the back door and got out the tub of face paint supplies for the booth I was running tonight.

With Coles help we both lugged it through the parking lot and the schools hallways.

Once we entered the gym, I looked around in amazement. The Jv and freshman players had to decorate it and from looking at it, I'd say they did a good job.

Cole and I placed all of my face paint supplies down. He ran away to be with his friends while I situated my stand.

Johan, the boys varsity captain, arrived and smiled at me. We both ran the face painting stand together.

"Hey P" he greeted as I smiled, "You excited for our last face painting job?"

I chuckled but shook my head, "Nope. I'm going to miss doing this"

"I know, I am too" he said as we both smiled.

I finished setting up the different paint tubes and looked around, there were a lot of kids with their families here already.

I heard a pair of feet running up behind me, I turned around to see my dear baby brother.

"Are you open now?" Cole asked with desperation in his voice.

I looked at Johan for confirmation. He looked around one last time at his stand and gave me the go ahead with a thumbs up

I smiled and nodded as a line quickly formed in front and beside me.

"Wow" Johan said as I chuckled.

I looked Johan, "This is our last time doing this so let's try to enjoy it this year"

He looked and me and smiled before turning his attention to his first kid.

"What would you like this year Coley?" I asked, he looked at the options that I hung up and smiled cheekily at me.

I already knew what he wanted, I just like to tease him.

"Spider-Man" he said as I nodded and got out the red, blue, white and black paint.

As I painted his face I listened to the kids around us talk about school. It was pretty funny, they were so young yet so smart.

"Done" I said with a smile and placed down my brush.

I reached over and grabbed a mirror before handing it to him. Cole smiled as he looked at his reflection.

"Spider-Man, pew pew" he said while thwipping webs at me. I smiled and shook my head before going onto the next kid.

I finished painting a tigers face on a little girl as she roared at me and I pretended to be scared.

She giggled and skipped away happily.

My line was empty so I took that time to clean my brushes and clean my water out.
