Jungkook was looking around, sure he was receiving all the glory from his team but he looked like he had other things on his mind.

I stood there smiling at him, he deserved this along with everything else. He looked in my direction and instantly spotted me.

He smiled, knowing that he finally saw me closer and within range. He was put down and didn't hesitate to make his way towards me.

"Congrats Kookie, you finally beat them" I said and patted his shoulder pads.

"Thank you" he blushed as my smile grew wider, he was cute when he blushed.

"And I told you I'd score a touchdown for you" he grinned and poked my side as I chuckled and swatted his hand away.

"Yes you did, and who know you'd end up winning as well" I added as he smiled.

He stared at me with a smile on his face, a pure genuine smile. The look I loved to see on his face.

"You look good with my jacket on, I knew it was a good idea to give it to you" he added and it was my turn to blush.

It got quiet, everyone around us were still cheering and we were stuck in our own world staring at each other.

"Hey Paige, do you maybe want to-"

Daniel, a senior line backer, walked up and interrupted us as the rest of the football team followed.

"Party tonight at my house and Jungkook... is the guest of honor!"

Everyone cheered around us but Jungkook kept his gazed trained on me as I chuckled at everyone's enthusiasm.

After that everyone started to vacate the field to most likely get ready for Daniels party.

Jungkook cleared his throat "What do you say? Want to go to this lame after party with me?" His grin wide.

He wasn't into all the high school party atmosphere, a thing I liked about him. He was grounded and mature, unlike the other boys I know.

I smiled, "Sure"

If only he knew, Daniel's parties were always the craziest. Everyone always had a good time and people would talk about the turnout for weeks.

I was now back home, pondering an outfit for the party. I didn't like dressing for anyone but I really wanted to 'wow' Jungkook.

I finally picked out an outfit and started to get ready.

I shimmied on my camouflage skirt that went mid-thigh and a black long sleeve crop top shirt that showed a bit of my stomach.

I looked in the mirror, it wasn't that bad of an outfit. Even when I had a little bit of time to get dressed.

I put on no shoe socks and my black vans, I tied my shoes and started on my hair.

I decided to just leave it down as I brushed it out, it was already too late for me to do anything about it anyway.

My parents were already asleep along with Cole and Eric said he had some things to do, so it was just Lucas and I who were up.

Our parents didn't care we were going out this late because we proved we were responsible for our actions and would accept the consequences.

We knew better than to do anything stupid, I mean our dad is the town's sheriff.

I grabbed my phone and walked out of my room to meet my brother and best friend at the bottom of the stairs.

Xavier did a wolf whistle as my brother punched his arm.

"Gross" Lucas chuckled.

I rolled my eyes as we all walked out of the house and got in Lucas' truck. We then started our journey to Daniels house.

The house we were going to was located almost on the edge of town, so it was more secluded and secret.

As Lucas drove we all talked about the party, Daniels parties were always a good time. So we predicted tonight's events.

We finally got to Daniels house to see the house lawn already trashed and filled with teenagers. I opened my door to hear the music blaring.

We hopped out of the truck and Xavier threw his arm over my shoulder and guided us towards the house.

I was starting to get nervous, everything that happened that one night were flashing through my mind.

But the thought of Jungkook being here with me started to ease my nerves.

We walked to the door and Lucas opened it. That's when the music got really loud. We went inside and pushed ourselves through the crowd of sweaty people.

The house was full of the senior class when we entered. Daniels house was almost as big as mine. It was really nice, I doubt it would still look like this at the end of the night.

I felt my phone vibrate, I took it out to see that Jungkook texted me.

<Jeongguk: I'm almost there, kinda got lost]

I smiled, of course he'd get lost. The way Daniel explained his directions to him was confusing but we've known the boy for a long time so we knew where it was.

[Me: Alright I'll be here, wandering around>
<Jeongguk: Don't have too much fun without me😉]

I rolled my eyes and held my phone as Xavier walked in front of me. We made it to the kitchen where almost everyone was drinking.

I sighed, most of the boys drinking were on the football team as well as some cheerleaders and fellow classmates.

Everyone else cheered them on.

The kitchen was filled with all kinds of alcohol beverages, stacked with pizza boxes, other beverages and snacks.

I followed Xavier to the snacks, of course this would be the first place he'd go to. This was probably the only reason why he agreed to come.

He grabbed two red solo cups and filled it with Dr Pepper that was sitting there unopened.

He handed one cup to me as I drank it. I stayed to the side as he rummaged the kitchen for food.

I smiled, Xavier is one lanky boy. He can eat a lot and never gain anything.

"I'm going to the restroom" I shouted to him over the loud bass that rang through the house, he nodded as he stuffed his face with chips.

I chuckled and shook my head. I held onto my cup as I passed by the bodies of fellow students.

I got upstairs and found all the restrooms with long lines. I huffed and went back downstairs then remembered the 'secret' restroom by the kitchen.

Once I arrived I closed the door and noticed the cheering in the house got louder but I ignored it.

Someone probably backflipped off of the balcony outside, believe me, it's happened before.

After I did my business and washed my hands I left the washroom. When I got outside a lot of people were crowding the small hallway I had to go through.

I could push past all these people but, what good would that do?

I decided to wait till it died down so I sighed and leaned against the wall.

I kept to myself as I watched the people I grew up with enjoying the moment before everything gets real for us.

I smiled, I remembered when we were all small. From our preschool years to now, it went by so fast.

I sipped from my cup and looked around more, it was going good so far.

I heard a sound like someone sliding across the wall, so I looked.
