PAIGE;
August was coming to an end and it's been a whole month since Jungkook and I started dating in July.

To say that our relationship wasn't building up was an understatement. We both liked taking things slow, so everything worked out.

We do hold each other's hand all the time and I sometimes peck his cheek every now and then but I haven't actually kissed him yet.

I always daydream about it.

I often wonder if he's a good kisser, or if his lips feel as soft as they look.

I continued to stare at him as he talks about the new play he developed and how it was working during practice.

He seems happy about being on the team, I couldn't be happier as well. I liked seeing him like this.

"Let's go on another date" Jungkook said as we walked out of the field.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked as we continued walking.

"I don't know yet, but do you have any ideas?" He asked as I thought about it.

"I don't think about them I just go on them" I smirked as he rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"Oh ok" he said sarcastically, then he looked at my other hand that was clutching a book to my chest. I could tell that an idea formed into his mind as he smiled.

"Ok spill" I said as we stopped by the passenger side of his car.

"A reading date" he said as I smiled, we both love reading. It actually sounded like a good date.

"We could go to a bookstore, I'll watch you browse for six or seven hours" he smiled.

"Then while we read we can drink coffee and then end the evening with a drive" he added as I smiled.

"It sounds like a date" he smiled and opened the door for me.

I heard the doorbell go off and I knew it was Jungkook. I smiled and looked in the mirror one last time.

I kept it simple, I wore a pair of army green skinny jeans, my favorite grey knit sweater and my white slip on vans.

I grabbed my bag and exited my room. I practically skipped down the stairs right when Cole opened the door.

"PAI- oh, Jungkook's here" Cole smiled and ran off, probably to play his games.

"Hey P" Jungkook smiled as I joined him outside.

"Hello Kookie" I said as he blushed, I guess he really likes the nickname.

"So, where are we going today?" I asked as he grabbed my hand and we walked down the path.

"We are going to the 'Black Cat Book Cafe'" he answered as I smiled.

He really meant it when he said were going on a reading date.

"Black Cat?" I asked as he nodded.

"There are actual cats there and I know you're not allergic so I figured, hey, why not" he said with a grin.

I rolled my eyes, I never really took him as a cat person. Me, well I'm sort of in between.

We entered the Black Cat Book Cafe and I breathed in the aroma of paper and magic that strangely no one had ever thought of bottling.

I smiled and looked around the store only to find that there were actual cats almost everywhere.

My smile grew wider when I saw a big cat lounging on a set of books, minding its own business.

We walked past a sign that I chuckled at, 'The cat is in charge, We just live here'.

"Hello and welcome to the Black Cat Book Cafe, if you have any questions you can ask any of our workers" The older lady with reading glasses indicated the sleeping cats.

I giggled and Jungkook smiled,

"I'm kidding of course. They hate being disturbed so you can ask me, so please enjoy yourselves, because all you need is coffee, a book and a cat" she smiled as we nodded.

"How many times do you think she's said that?" Jungkook asked as he steered me far away from her so she wouldn't hear him.

I chuckled, "Too much to count probably"

He grinned and we started wondering the isles, well I did. Jungkook just stayed behind me as I browsed.

As I looked past the books that I've already read my mind went back to Jungkook. I wondered if he's read these then I got an idea, I turned to him with a smile.

"What is it?" He asked with a chuckle. He knows me too well.

"Let's pick a book for each other, I pick one for you and you pick one for me" I smiled.

"You know I'm the one who's supposed to come up with the activities and that beat mine" He smiled as I giggled.

"What was yours?" I asked, interested now.

"Well, I was going to let you get books and I carry them for you while you browse more then we sit down and I watch you read" he answered with a shy grin as I blushed.

"You're such a romantic Jeon" I smirked as he smiled.

"I try" He smirked.

I chuckled and turned around. I had to look for a book for Jungkook, so how hard could that be?

As I continued through the isle, I couldn't help but graze my fingers over the spines of the books.

Just feeling them made my heart flutter, Jungkook watched me as I went through.

My eyes landed on a book that I knew would be interesting for him, it was called 'Flights'.

I've actually read this in my junior year English class so I was very familiar with it. It only had a hundred and eighty-one pages, so he could probably finish it in an hour.

As I looked around more Jungkook decided to speak up.

"Why do you like bookstores so much?" He asked as I smiled.

"Well, you see, bookstores are dreams built on wood and paper. They are time travel, escape, knowledge and power. They are, simply put, the best of places." I finished as he smiled.

"Did you get your book?" He asked as I nodded. I handed mine to him as he handed his to me.

The book Jungkook picked out for me was called, 'Milk and Honey'. I've never really read that much poetry so this was the perfect time to.

"Let's go get a coffee," He smiled and grabbed my hand before walking toward the indoor cafe.
