A gasp left my lips when the shadowy figure picks me up and holds me. I claw at their hands as my breath gets caught in my lungs.

"Paige" they say as I start kicking at their abdomen but they don't move.

Their face is slowly revealed from the dark and I gasp. For some reason, it seems like I've seen him before.

Like I've known him my whole life.

I can't see them clearly, but the outline of their body was familiar. The only thing I could see were his eyes that were blood red.

"Surprised?" He asks which an evil smile, his fangs poking out. I huff and spit at him.

"Fuck off" I grit as he smirks even wider.

"I don't think so babygirl, your ancestors promised me your sweet blood and I plan on taking what's rightfully mine" He says.

When he's done talking, the clouds start to move to reveal the moon. He looks up and smiles at the sight of the moon then he looks back at me, "It's time"

I gasp as he starts to change into the shadow monster, his form grows taller and his teeth get sharper. He shrieks and before he can lean down to bite me, he's tackled down.

I'm immediately dropped onto the snow covered ground as I gasp for air as they both fight. I stand up and face them as I freeze.

"Jungkook?"

The shadow person had Jungkook on his back while snarling. In a flash Jungkook swipes at his neck and the figure screeches in pain.

Then he bites Jungkook's neck, I gasp and run towards him as the figure falls back to contain his bleeding neck.

"Kook" I whimper and start to put pressure on his wound.

"P-Paige" Jungkook wheezes as tears start to blur my vision, "You have to s-stop him"

A sob leaves my mouth, "I can't"

Jungkook lifts up his hand and caresses my cheek. His eyes close as he takes a shaky inhale and exhales deeply.

I gasp at the surge it gives me, it brings me power and made me feel stronger.

"Yes, you can" Jungkook says as my breath hitches but I nod. I turn to look up at the shadow monster as he leans against a familiar tree, slowly bleeding out.

"Oh Jungkookie, you gave power to a worthless girl" He taunts as I hear Jungkook growl behind me, "You should've just let me kill her"

I walk up the shadow monster and smirk as I see fear flash across his eyes.

"I can fight my own battles"

I kneel down beside him and place my hands on the sides of his face. He gasps as I take a sharp inhale. I could feel the death and emptiness that resided in him.

"No!" He screams, "What are you doing?!"

I look him in the eyes and see mine reflecting in his, they were red.

"You won't hurt anyone anymore" I whisper as his form starts to grow weaker.

"Impossible" The demon croaks out. I hold his stare as his eyes start to lose life and soon they're cloudy grey, lifeless.
