PAIGE;
Jungkook and I were seated close to the bride and grooms table. Diavion and Maggie wanted us closer to them.

"I like the color scheme" Jungkook spoke up as I looked around with him.

Burgundy and grey came to mind as I looked at the flowers, decorations and the utensils that were on the table.

"It's beautiful" I added as I looked at the maroon bridesmaid dresses.

"We fit it as well" Jungkook said as I smiled, we really did.

He brought me closer to him as the toasts began. I leaned my head on his shoulder as Diavion's best friend stood up.

"Diavion Hillard, is one son of a bitch" he started as the room erupted in chuckles.

"May the dance floor clear for the bride and grooms first dance of the night" The Dj said as I stood up.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked as I fixed my dress.

"I have to do something for them, don't worry I'll be right back" I said and pecked his lips as he smiled.

I walked through the dance floor that was getting cleared off with guests. I walked on the stage as my nerves started to set in.

I walked up to the mic stand and stood in front of it. I inhaled nervously as I saw the various tables filled with guests and they all had their eyes on me.

Diavion was trying to not have Maggie look at me as I stood on stage, he was actually following through with his surprise.

He looked at me and gave me a thumbs up. I nodded and breathed out.

I was approached by a person from the band that held a guitar, "We received your song request so we'll play and follow through when it comes time to" he said as the band members nodded in agreement.

"Oh, yes please" I said as they chuckled.

"We got you" the drummer said as I smiled, my nerves were starting to ease.

I exhaled and turned around to face the couple. I walked up the the mic and brung it down a little as I stood in front of it.

"Hello" I spoke as Maggie and Diavion looked at me. She gasped and looked at her husband, he kissed her as she smiled.

I couldn't take all the eyes looking at me until a familiar pair took control of me. He noticed my state and nodded,

"You got this" he mouthed.

I smiled, "My name is Paige Ryder and I'm a good friend of both the bride and groom. Just earlier I was approached by Diavion and he begged me to sing a song for them"

I smiled as the guests chuckled, "Of course I had to accept. So I'll be performing a song that came to mind when I thought about them. I hope you'll enjoy" I finished.

I looked back at the band and nodded. The person on the piano started to play the keys as I lightly tapped my fingers to the rhythm on the mic stand.

I decided on singing 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri.

I looked straight at the newlywed couple and started on the first verse of the song.

"Heart beats fast, colors and promises, how to be brave, how can I love when I'm afraid to fall, but watching you stand alone, all of my doubt, suddenly goes away somehow"

They were slowly dancing as I smiled to myself,

"One step closer" they placed their foreheads against each other and had their eyes closed.

The guitarist joined me, "I have died everyday, waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more"

I looked around at the guests to see them looking at the couple in awe.

"Time stands still, beauty in all she is
I will be brave, I will not let anything, take away what's standing in front of me. Every breath, every hour has come to this" he let her go and spun her magically.

"One step closer" Diavion brought Maggie closer and kissed her passionately.

JUNGKOOK;
As the couple kissed, I watched Paige. When she was going to start the next verse she looked straight at me.

"I have died everyday, waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years"

My breathing hitched and my heart began to thump hard in my chest when she continued singing. I felt myself start to shake, she was so beautiful.

"I'll love you for a thousand more, and all along I believed, I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years"

She sang to me, her voice was just as beautiful as she was. She made me fall for her more than she already has.

"I'll love you for a thousand more" she held the high note as she closed her eyes.

The band played the small solo as she hung her head down taking in the moment. Once it ended she picked her head up, still with her eyes closed.

She opened her glistening eyes to look back into my tears ones,

"I have died everyday, waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more, And all along I believed, I would find you"

"Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more"

She closed her eyes as the band played the end. She lifted up her head and exhaled.

She opened her eyes as a tear fell down and looked at them, "To the beautiful couple, may your love be modern enough to survive the times but old-fashioned enough to last forever. I love you guys"

She walked off the stage and was immediately engulfed in a hug from both of them.
