I moved my book down and looked across, it was him.

He sat down holding a book as well. I tried not to stare so I brought my book back up, covering my face.

"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must live" the boy muttered to himself except I heard him.

I brought my book down and looked at him, "You've read this?" I asked.

"Bukowski is a god, I always read that book when I get the chance, it's one of my favorites" he says.

I smiled, "Mine too".

I didn't know that many people who read Bukowski books. He was staring at me as I covered my face again.

"So, does your boyfriend always act like that?" He asked.

It sounded like venom when he said 'boyfriend'.

I removed my book and looked at him, he had his face down reading his book.

"Boyfriend?" I asked, I finally realized he was talking about Gavin.

"Oh Gavin, no he doesn't always act like that" I answered, only if you provoke him.

"Is that why you're with him?" He asked still not looking at me.

"No" I chuckled, "He's not my boyfriend"

He nodded, "But you at least dated him, right?"

Is it that obvious that we dated? How could he tell so much about when he hasn't even known me for one whole day?

"Yep" I sighed, "The worst decision I've ever made"

"What's your name?" He asked finally looking at me.

"Paige, Paige Ryder" I said, I held out my hand.

He took it, "Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook" his hand was cold and firm.

We let go, I kind of didn't want to but that would have been weird if I kept holding his hand. 

My arms were getting tired from holding the book so I set it on the table and set my elbows down.

I felt Jungkook's eyes on me, his gaze was somewhat comforting.

"Tell me Paige" he began as I looked at him, "What does one do for fun around here?"

I thought to myself. "Go to pep rallies, football games, house parties, the diner, the lake, the movie theatre, the mall, and yeah that's it".

"What do you do for fun?" He asked.

I stayed quiet to myself, thinking, "I usually just run, play basketball or watch movies for fun", I lived a truly boring life.

"You're the sheriffs daughter right?" He asked.

I sighed and looked down at my book, "Yeah"

"So, you have a reputation to maintain?" He asked.

"I guess you could say that" I muttered.

"What class do you have next?" He asked thankfully changing the subject.

"Umm biology with Head" I answered, I memorized my schedule beforehand.

"Me too" he smiled, I melted right there. His smile was adorable.

"You don't mind walking with me?" He asked.

I shook my head, "It'll be my pleasure"

He smiled and continued reading. I had one more question to ask, if was for Xavier and my curiosity was taking over.
