I looked in the mirror, I was wearing a navy blue satin dress that hugged my curves. It made me feel pretty, but was it enough?

I had my hair curled as it hung down my shoulders. I did a simple makeup look, enough for it to look natural.

I couldn't believe my good friend, Maggie from high school was getting married. We first met when she was a junior and I was a freshman.

She befriended me through basketball and cross country, she was like my big sister as I grew up.

She was getting married to her childhood love.

I was so proud of her, she always talked about this day and it was finally here.

My thoughts were interrupted when my phone dinged. I smiled, when I saw Jungkooks name.

<Jeongguk💕: I'm here babe. I can come in if you want?]
[Me: You can if you want, I didn't mind. I'll be down in a second>
<Jeongguk💕: Alright I'll be in soon]

I smiled and set my phone down as I fixed my dress some more. I heard the doorbell ring as my heart rate sped up.

"Paige! Your boyfriends here!" Eric yelled, I could feel him smirking. I looked into the mirror and smiled.

Let's do this.

I grabbed my phone and opened my room door. I went down the stairs carefully as I wore heels.

I made it to the first floor and walked into the kitchen. I heard Eric and Jungkook talking when I entered.

They both stopped and looked at me, their eyes widened.

"What?" I asked, was it too much?

"Is it too much? Because I could change-" I was interrupted as I went to turn around.

"No!" Jungkook shouted as I looked at him, "It's perfect" he said in his normal tone and blushed.

I smiled, I looked at his outfit. We were matching as he wore a navy blue dress shirt and black dress pants.

"You look beautiful" he smiled as he walked towards me.

"You look handsome yourself" I smiled as he wrapped me in a hug that I gladly accepted.

"Ugh, quit reminding me that I'm single" Eric said, as he drank his coffee.

I chuckled as we let go, I looked at my older brother. "Well I'll be home later tonight" I said as he nodded.

"Have fun and take care of my baby sister Jungkook" he said pointing at him.

"Always" he smiled as Eric gave him a nod.

"You may kiss the bride" the priest said as the newly wed couple leaned in to kiss each other.

I let out a sob as I watched them, they were so cute. A tear left my eye as Jungkook squeezed my hand in his.

I always knew they were going to be together, they really were such a powerful couple.

Once their lips touched we all stood and cheered for them. They smiled and walked down the isle holding hands.

Maggie saw me and her eyes watered more than they already were. I smiled at her as her grin grew.

I wanted to hug her tightly but I wanted her to enjoy this moment. She passed as she kept her eyes on me.

"Paige!" I heard the familiar voice squeal, I turned around and saw the beautiful bride.

"Maggie!" I squealed as well as she wrapped me in one of her heart full grips.

"Oh I missed you so much" she said with her voice choking up a bit. The last time I saw her was when she was leaving for college in Arizona.

"I missed you more" I said with tears threatening to fall down my face.

"How have you been?" She asked as we let go.

"I've been really good, what about you?" I smiled, all thanks to Jungkook.

"Well I'm having the time of my life, I just got married to my love. I got my masters degree and now I'm going to live the rest of my life surrounded by the people I love" she smiled, a pure genuine smile.

"I'm happy for you" I smiled, I really was. She got the future she worked hard for and everything was aligning for her.

"Thank you Paige, really. I heard about you too, word got around about your accomplishments. I've heard everything you've done from Chance" she smiled and nudged me.

My smile faltered, I hadn't heard that name in so long. That name brought back pain that I didn't miss.

"Oh" I said, "Really?" He was the last person I thought that would want to talk about me.

"Yeah, he was so googily eyes about it. I think he still has feelings for you" she smiled, she always wanted me to be with him.

"I actually have someone now" I smiled thinking of Jungkook, someone better.

"Ooh, really?" She asked with a smirk as I nodded.

I turned around, "Jungkook" I called as he turned and smiled at me.

He walked towards us, "Maggie, this is my boyfriend Jungkook. Jungkook this is Maggie, my good friend"

He smiled and shook her hand, "It's nice to meet you. You had a beautiful wedding ceremony"

She gasped, she didn't expect this. "Paige he's a keeper" she said as I blushed.

"Well thank you Jungkook, I hope you're treating Paige well" she smiled.

"Always" he answered as he wrapped his arm around my waist and brung me closer to him.

Maggie smiled heartily at us before knocking out of her daze, "Wheres my husband?" She asked herself.

We chuckled, "Diavion" she called as he turned around from an old couple and excused himself.

Diavion walked towards us and smiled once his eyes landed on Maggie. He wrapped his arm around her and smiled.

"Oh paige, is that you?" He jokingly asked as I nodded.

"It's been so long, you were so short back then" he smiled as he brought me in for a bear hug.

I smiled as he told me about what he's done when he was in college, he's working for a business in Arizona.

He's making 'bank', as he put it. He also told me about the hopes and dreams of his future.

As Diavion and I talked I couldn't help but smile when I saw Jungkook and Maggie getting along.

He really was perfect, I couldn't be anymore grateful.

"So... about that deal" He smirked as I widened my eyes.

"What? No I can't" I said as he brung up the promise I made a long time ago.

"Please" he pleaded dragging the 'e'

"That was a long time ago, I'm sure I don't sound the same" I said as he held up his hands in a pleading manner.

"Please Paige, for us, I'll pay you if you want" he said as I thought about it.

"Only if I get to sing a song I want" I negotiated as he narrowed his eyes at me.

"If it's appropriate then yes" he said as he held out his hand, I shook it and smiled.

"It has to be slow for us to dance to, she loves your voice as well so make it a good song. I'm sure she'll be surprised" he said as I nodded.

"Ok" I sighed, giving in.

"Thank you, and you're going on when the first dance is announced" he said as I nodded making a mental note.

"I'll go tell the band now" he said before he left me so I joined Maggie and Jungkook.
