When Jungkook first talked about going to a haunted house this Halloween, I was all for it.

Mainly because I loved anything that scared me or gave me an adrenaline rush, but when he said we were going to the one at the small festival.

I wanted to back out.

I've had friends who went to that haunted house and they either came out crying or had nightmares for weeks after.

I didn't believe them at first but apparently that was a common occurrence of what everyone goes through when or if they finish.

And this wasn't like any other haunted house. No, this one had levels.

I've heard that the first and second levels are bearable but then they start getting scarier and scarier.

There are six levels total and no one makes it through to the last. I knew this was easy for Jungkook since he's a creature of the night himself but I was just a wee human.

I love scary movies and a good scare but so do my friends and they barely survived that.

Jungkook parked as I continued to stare out of the window. I couldn't take my eyes off of the big sign.

'Devils Nightmare'

It was a weird name for a haunted house but I wasn't running it so it wasn't my business.

"You ready?" Jungkook asked putting his hand on my knee and dragging me back to reality.

"Do I really have a choice?" I ask, this was all his idea.

"Nope" he said and smiled that smile of his.

"Then let's go" I sighed as he chuckled. We both got out and walked towards the entrance.

Once Jungkook and I got in line, he put his arm around my shoulders and held me close to him. He pressed a kiss to my temple and leaned down to my ear.

"Are you okay?" He asked, "We don't have to do this if you don't want to"

I shook off my nerves and wrapped my arms around his waist. I pressed a kiss on his chin and smiled up at him, "No. I want to do it. I'm fine, just a little nervous"

After I finished my sentence a group of people were being escorted out of one of the haunted house exits, crying.

Jungkook tightened his hold around me, "I'll protect you. I promise"

The line starts to move quickly as Jungkook bought our tickets. I thanked him as we made our way to the entrance.

"Ready love?" He asks as I let out a long exhale then nod. He holds my hand and we begin to walk through.

The whole room is dark and eery as we follow a group of teenagers in front of us.

Fog covers the ground and UV lights shine down on us. It illuminates the 'night sky', the trees glow and so does the moon.

A shrill scream is played as I jump and bump in Jungkook's arms. He chuckles and holds me closer to him as we continue walking.

So far we were on the last level and Jungkook kept true to his words. He shielded my eyes and ear while guiding me through everything.

This level was just a long hallway with doors that had things going on behind them.
