So this chapter comes with warning ⚠️ it os quite intense and I apologise in advance.

Alex sat beside Daisy who was a million miles away in her own mind. She thought about what she would make for dinner, what movie her and Freddie would watch  after, and how his day might have been going at the studio.

Having been staying with her for three days now, she noticed how much more alive she felt in her day-to-day life, knowing she would be going home to him.

The pressure of being in a public relationship was completely removed, it was just the two of them, no threats, no fears, just the two of them, minus the mind blowing sex which she would often think about especially when he was walking around the house in nothing but tracksuit pants and no top.

Smiling to herself at the image of Freddie's bare chest, Alex nudged her back to reality with his elbow.

Daisy wasn't sure why she needed to be there considering she had nothing to do with this part of the business. This was all Alex' forte.

Continuing to smile blankly while not saying a word, Daisy sat for a further hour before the meeting finally concluded with signed documents and handshakes.

Standing up from her chair, Daisy stretched her arms above her head and yawned "well I guess I best be going home now"

"What's the rush?" Alex asked while pouring two glasses of whiskey with a single ice cube "it's time to celebrate"

Daisy didn't want to tell him that Freddie was staying with her. Despite there being no actual issue between the two, Daisy sensed Alex's shift in energy whenever she mentioned Freddie or Queen.

"I'm just a bit tired I had a rough night, I want to catch up on my sleep" she lied convincingly

Alex ignored her comment despite hearing it clearly. He turned with the glass and handed it to her before chinking his to hers "cheers" they both drank back the content.

Alex signalled for Daisy to sit down.

He stared at her for a moment before edging his chair towards her "Daisy, May I ask you a personal question?"

"Sure" Daisy replied while swirling the ice cube with her finger in the empty glass.

"Could you ever see yourself with me...romantically?" His question was blunt and despite being unexpected by Daisy, one that she knew she would eventually be asked.

Daisy kept her eyes on the ice cube and was terrified of where he was going with the conversation. Finally after what seemed like an abnormally long pause, she sat up straight and looked up at Alex "Alex, I think you're amazing, and while I do think you're attractive, I see you more as...a father figure"

Her ego crushing reply had Alex feel a rage that began to have him see red. How dare she insult him in such a manner! A father figure?

He reached for her glass and lifted it off the table slowly. Wiping the mark it left in the desk, he took it back to the bar area and posted the whiskey bottle a second time. While he pouring her second glass, he discreetly dropped 1/2 of a small tablet in her glass. As it quickly dissolved leaving small white ring, he gave a crooked smile to himself.

Turning around, he swirled the glass and handed it over to Daisy again who guiltily drank it down.

Zopiclone. The latest drug craze which was hitting London. With its sleep-promoting, and muscle-relaxing effects, they were used as knock-out drugs especially because of the rapid onset of their effect because they induce amnesia and can only be detected for a short time.

Alex sat back down and threw his feet up on the desk startling Daisy.

"A man can only hope that such a beautiful woman like yourself throws him a bone" Alex smiled "it's fine Daisy, it's honestly fine"

Daisy's stomach sank in relief at his reply "thank you
Alex, it's so hard right now, I'm...well I'm still in love with Freddie and I honestly can't see myself moving forward with anyone anytime soon"

As the words left Daisy's mouth, she stood up and began to feel dizzy. Leaning forward she quickly put her arm forward  to hold herself up as she feel forwards onto the table.

"Are you alright?" Alex asked in fake concern.

"I think I drank too..." before she could finish her sentence, Daisy collapsed to the ground.

Slowly Alex rose from his seat.

Sliding  his hand along the table, he stood by Daisy and looked at her laying on the floor in a heap.

His eyes skimmed her thighs which were exposed from her fall.

"Daisy can you hear me?" He asked slowly.

When no response came, he kneeled beside her and began to stroke her hair "if only you had taken me up on my offer Daisy, I could have made you so happy. Look at what you've made me do, you silly silly girl. All for some pathetic rockstar"

Sliding her skirt up, he slid his hand up between her thighs till he felt her warmth "ahhhh" he let out "and now you will give me what you owe me"

Standing up, he walked to the door calmly and locked it. Turning, he unbuttoned the top button of his shirt and removed his belt. His eyes were lifeless and evil. His anger had consumed him and his adrenaline was controlling his actions.

"And now my love, you WILL be all mine" he promised as his hand slid down to stroke himself before unzipping his zipper.
