Part 60- "Dasvidanya"

As Freddie, James, Geoffrey and Viktor made their way into Daisy's bedroom, she took a final deep breath and calmly walked to the door.

"Daisy" James quickly whispered "if you need this for...well if you need it, I'm sliding it between the couch cushions" taking out a small handgun from his pocket, he rushed out of the room and dropped it between the cushions, kissed her forehead and went into the bedroom with the others.

Cracking her neck as she turned it from left to right, Daisy worked herself up and headed to the door.

"Hello you" she smiled broadly as she opened the door for Viktor who's face lit up seeing Daisy.

"You take my breath away" he said as his eyes slid down her body.

The words caught Daisy off guard as it almost felt like a sign, that he would say the very sentence that had her and Freddie come together.

"Thank you" she girlishly replied before turning in her white pencil dress and seductively walking towards the couch.

Alex placed both hands in his pockets and smiled as he casually followed her, a grin marking his face as he watched Daisy's enthusiasm.

"To celebrate this special evening" Daisy began while leaning against the couch "I've prepared fish"

"Fish?" Alex repeated

"You don't like fish?" Daisy asked with wide eyes

"I like anything you make"

Alex sat down at the table where Daisy had laid down her best China, along with candles and a vintage red wine. Creating the perfect romantic surroundings, Alex felt like his relationship was finally where he desperately wanted it to be.

Diana dressed herself slowly, careful in her movements as everything was triggering off her morning sickness.

Feeling depleted of energy and emotion, she desperately wanted to stay home and continue laying like she had all day. She longingly looked at her bed , wishing she could wrap herself up as a burrito, doze off and cancel seeing her cousin at the hospital who was having her appendix removed.

Having not made any public announcements about her and Rogers impending arrival, keeping both her bump and nausea hidden was a challenge.

Slowly making her way down the stairs, she smiled as she was met with Roger in the kitchen, wearing the longest possible gloves, scrubbing away at a pot with great enthusiasm.

"I'm ready" Diana announced with an amused smile.

"I think we need new pots" Roger wiped his brow with the back of his forearm, his long hair sticking to his face from his sweat.

Diana have a chuckle "all because you can't clean just ONE?"

"I've been scrubbing for twenty-minutes, it's a lost cause!" He threw his arms up theatrically.

"Come on drama Queen, lets go see Tilly"

"That was the most amazing meal I have ever had" Alex leaned back in his chair and rubbed his satisfied belly.

Daisy smiled proudly "really?"

"Absolutely! Is there anything you can't do?" He asked in awe.

Daisy stood up and walked around the table, throwing her long legs with each step.

Taking a seat on Alex's lap, she wrapped her arms around his neck and gazed into his eyes.

Looking past him at the clock, she noticed that he had been there for an hour.
