Part 59-"Also....I've left Olivia"

The table sat quietly. Coming to terms with what they'd just heard was not as easy as what they'd been expecting to hear.

Diana shifted closer to Roger and held his thigh tightly. He looked down then back up at her, giving a smile that was hopeless.

"I know that this is a lot" James began again "it's the only way"

Brian straightened himself in his seat and turned his attention to Freddie who's blank expression was completely unreadable "you right Fred?"

"Yeah mate I am" Freddie confessed, his voice relieved.

"No one needs to approve of this, Daisy has agreed and Geoffrey is finalising the arrangements today. You're Daisy's closest friends, she wanted you to know" James looked each of them in the eye before landing on Diana "Are you ok love?"

Jumping up from her seat, Diana excused herself and rushed to the toilet.

"It's a lot to digest" James sympathised

"Actually" Roger grinned proudly "I guess now's as good a time as ever...she's pregnant, we're having another baby"

Following James strict instructions, Daisy made no contact with anyone from her circle that evening.

Arriving at The Red Room a trendy Russian restaurant in the heart of London, Daisy caught her own reflection in the windows as she stepped out of the cab.

Another dress I'll need to destroy she thought to herself.

Stepping inside the cosy,dimly lit dinning room, she was greeted by an elderly Russian waiter, who promptly removed her coat and showed her to her table.

Alex, having arrived moments earlier, was already sipping Vodka and stood up to greet her as she arrived "my darling" he embraced and kissed her "you look incredible!"

A fake smile plastered across Daisy's face "I wanted to make sure I look perfect for you"

Taking her hand in his, he kissed the back of her knuckles "you always look perfect"

Vodka. I need lots of Vodka.

"Could I have a drink?" She asked pointing at his glass.

Sliding it in front of her, Alex waited for Daisy's reaction over drinking the strong spirit, which was a unique hybrid from Alex's home town.

To his surprise, she drank the content without a flinch and sighed with satisfaction.

Giving an impressed chuckle, Alex lifted his hand to the waiter to order another "you drink like a Russian, I'll get you a water, it'll hit you hard in a moment" he then leaned forward "not that I wouldnt love to take advantage of you while you're drunk"

Fuck.Fuck.Fuck.

The realisation of her careless action had hit her. She hadn't eaten and she had just drank down half a glass of poison strong Vodka, while being around her rapist who is determined to have sex with her.

While appearing calm, Daisy lifted a glass of water and began to sip it and began looking at her menu "so what's good here?"

Freddie lay in old bed at his parents house, trying to not think about Daisy. He knew she was with Alex and he knew that despite it being the last night she would ever need to spend with him, she would be terrified.

Rolling over to his side, he hugged his pillow and gazed out the window. The dark night sky was dimly lit with specks of light. His memories of life prior to Queen came back to him. Before all the fame and fortune, when he was simply Farrokh Bulsara.

For a moment he wondered how life would have been if he never found the limelight, and stayed in design or some other average job.

The idea was quickly replaced by Daisy yet again. He longed to hold her and protect her. The more he thought about her, the more he also began to fantasise about being with her.

The softness is her skin, the gentle smell of her perfume, the way she would give out a small moan when he kissed her neck.

He slowly let his eyelids close, a smile on his mouth as he drifted off to sleep.

TWENTY-TWO HOURS LATER

"Do I need to run anything by you again?" James asked strictly.

Daisy shook her head, unable to make eye contact with anyone as she stared ahead.

Lifting her chin and crouching down in front of her, James looked into his daughters eyes "you know I love you, and you know I would never put you in harms way. Everything will be fine"

His words had Daisy relax marginally.

A knock on the door had her jump almost literally out of her skin.

Geoffrey looked to James "is it him?"

"Better be" James replies as he rose to his feet.

Opening the door, a surprise guest appeared that Daisy was not expecting to see.

"Hello Daisy"

"Viktor?!" Daisy stood up and looked to her father "what are you doing here?"

"I....your father had a very unorthodox was of finding me" he smiled at James "and asked for me to be here today. After everything I couldn't say no"

Daisy swiftly walked over and wrapped her arms around Viktor unexpectedly "thank you" she whispered to him.

A second knock had Daisy pull away quickly "he's early" she panicked.

Geoffrey looked through the peephole "actually for once he's on time"

Opening the door for a second time, Freddie stood infront of them, his tight jeans hugging his hips, a white T-shirt paired with a black leather jacket and sun glasses.

Almost tripping over her own feet, Daisy lunged herself at Freddie who caught her in his arms expertly.

The comfort of being with him began to trigger Daisy's fear as she burst out crying on his shoulder.

"Let's go to the other room and have a chat ok?" Freddie's voice was calming and serious.

Daisy nodded through her tears as he lead her into her bedroom.

"Sit down darling" he instructed and patted the spot beside him on her bed.

Taking her trembling hands in his, he asked her to look at him. Her eyes were filled with giant tears. Taking the back of his hand, he wiped them and gave them both a kiss.

"I know that this is hard, and if I could somehow make all of this disappear I would. But I can't. So I need you to be the powerful and sexy goddess that you are and get this done. We are all here, nothing will go wrong, your father has planned this out flawlessly"

His reassuring words had taken effect and had Daisy feel relief for the first time that day.

"Also....I've left Olivia" Freddie added.

"Really?"

Freddie nodded with a grin "really my love, it's just you and me now" leaning in, Freddie tenderly kissed Daisy's lips, the taste of his cigarettes made her smile into his mouth.

"Come on, lets go back out there and run over everything a final time"

"Ok" Daisy gave a weak but genuine smile "I am so I. love with you"

"And I am catastrophically in love with you"

Ooooooo it's all happening now folks! Even I'm nervous and I know how this will end hahaha
