CHAPTER 7

When I woke up the next day I found myself alone in the bed. Was it all a dream?

I got up to take my mobile when I saw a note under it.

Dear Al,

I had to leave as I have to go check on my mom. I dint wanna wake you up so I left without telling you. I dint want you to worry so I left you a note. My phone's battery is dead.
The hospital which we are at is Skyline Hospital room number 102. If you wanna visit you could come over.
Thank you for the night and sorry too.
See you.

(P.S. You drool while you sleep)

I ran to the mirror to see my drool. That bluffing asshole. 

I went to my closet and kept the letter safely in my locker.

 I took a shower and went to the kitchen and told mom to prepare extra breakfast for Adrian.

She happily prepared and packed it for me. I told her I am going to his house. I still could not tell her about Maa I should ask Adrian if I can tell her.

I left to the hospital. I headed to the room where Maa is. 

I see Adrian sitting outside with his head on his hand and hand on his knee. His shoulders were shaking.

I ran towards him. I sat down in front of him.

"Adrian what's wrong ?"

His eyes were blood red.

"Al...mom is.." He trailed off.

"Shush Shush everything is gonna be fine."

I stood and ran my fingers thorough his head and massages his shoulders. He pulled me to him and hugged me.

I had to be strong for him. I tried controlling my sobs which were threatening to fall.

His head was on my stomach as he sobbed more.

"Where is Jessica?"

"I did not get her here. She is still at my aunt's place."

He loves his mom so much. 

He never cries for anything. He never shed a tear for anything or anyone. Not even when his dog died . 

But seeing him like this, this vulnerable I felt bad for him. 

The second time I'm seeing him cry and I can't bear it anymore. 

I kissed his hair and he calmed down a bit.

The doctor came out of the room.Adrian let go of me and asked the doctor about maa. 

"She is better now. She has to get rest. Don't stress her. You both can leave for now and come back after 2 hours or so. She will be awake by then."

We thanked the doctor. I just had a peek of maa from the door. Tears filled my eyes. 

 I saw Adrian I could not stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks. He pulled me to a hug and told me everything's gonna be fine.

"Its should be the other way round. God I'm sorry."

"Its okay Al." He chuckled.

"I bought breakfast. Eat up. We will go out and be back in an hour. You need to change. You are stinking. " I said holding my fingers on my nose.

He then smirked " Oh and I can still see your drool."

"I don't drool you asshole."

"Whatever helps you to sleep at night darling. "
