CHAPTER 15

Adrian's and my family had a dinner party tonight at his place.

I was thinking about how we all planned to get into NYU for Business degree except for Nat as she wanted to be a school teacher for kids.

It was always our plan. 

But what if Adrian goes somewhere else and I get in and what if it's the other way round.

Oh stop it Al. You are whining like his girlfriend.

Adrian kicked my leg under the table and bought me back to reality. 

I kicked him back. 

He smirked "Alexis."

"Yes Mommy. " 

"I've been calling your name since forever."

"Oh uhm sorry."

"Answer to Philip."

" Yes uncle?" 

"What are your plans after school?" 

Oh there it is.

"I.. I mean we wanted NYU so might end up there. I'll probably take up finance."

"Oh that's nice." He said.

"What do you mean by we?" Mommy asked.

"It's everyone except Nat." This time Adrian who spoke. 

She just nodded her head.

"Okay I can't hold back anymore." My dad shouted and all our heads snapped to his direction. 

Mommy sent daggers at dad, Maa was glaring at him, uncle too and granny was looking in such a way that if it was legal she would have shot him by now. 

What's up with everyone?

"What's that dad?" I asked while drinking water. 

"We are going to India." he squealed like a little girl.

"Whatttttttttt?" Adrian, Jessy and Beth told in unison and me like always spat the water in my mouth on Adrian.

"What the hell Al?"

"Please don't tell me it is another favorite shirt of yours." I said hopefully.

"You're lucky it's not." he huffed.

"Uff thank God. Back to the topic. When? How?"

"I wanted to tell this after eating our dessert but I could not hold on any longer sorry guys." my Dad was acting like a kid high on sugar.

"You... you spoil everything Harry. I hate you. " 

"Oh Rose I know you love me. I'm sorry you know I can not hold on to secrets for long." he winked at me.

When they continued their conversation I looked at Adrian only to find him already looking at me.

We always had a dream to visit India since Jerin keeps telling how good his place is. We always wanted to go there and Paris . 

Not only me but also Adrian. We both smiled at each other and shouted. 

Like we literally let out a girly scream. 

Then I ran to him and he held out his hands and I jumped and clung onto him like a monkey.

"We are going to India!" Adrian yelled swirling me around.

"We are going to India. " I yelled shaking his shoulders and then burying my head in his neck.

"Woah our kids have gone crazy." Maa told I guess.
