JUST HOLD ON

CHAPTER 24

We arrived at Adrian's place and I rolled up my sleeves. I turned back to look at Dan and Jess waiting at the door. I climbed up the tree and onto the roof and slid the window open and almost slipped but the window pane saved my ass.

Literally.

I looked down to see those two laughing their ass off while Dan was recording a my small stunt. I threw daggers at him and he laughed even more.

I went into his room and ran down and unlocked the door from the inside and pounced on Dan.

"Delete that video." I commanded.

"Nope" he said with a popping p.

"I know who to persuade to make you delete that video."

"You wouldn't."

"Oui, I will."

I went to his room to take my things back and found nothing.

That arrogant ass took my favorite pair of jeans with him.

Idiot.

We started packing all the clothes and the other necessities. It took us almost 2 hours.

We were tired to even move a muscle. We slumped on the bed when the bell rang.

"Dan get the door." I kicked him.

"No can do. I'm not even moving an inch."

"Get your ass out. What of it is someone who wants to kidnap me?"

"Oh like anyone would do that." He scoffed,

"I promise to delete the video if you get the door." That made me jump to my feet and I went to open the door.

"Oh, hey thanks for offering to help us. But we are pretty much done with all the packing. Thanks for the help guys." I said with a poker face to my friends and my sister.

"We left on time. But our Queen Brit was hungry and we had to stop at 5 cafes until she approved of one."

Just then Dan came and put his hand around my waist and kissed my cheeks,"Sup Babes." Without his shirt.

Woah he had a good toned body.

"Quit trying babes. I know you way to well." Brit said pecking his lips.

"What do I do to see this woman getting jealous. She never does." He huffed in annoyance.

"You gotta try with that with someone else. Someone whom she doesn't trust."

"Then Verona it is" he shrugged.

"Nooo." All the 4 of us yelled and he chuckled loudly.

We sat down and hogged like pigs until uncle Harry could come home. When he finally arrived I felt sad again.

All this time, my friends tried to cheer me up and it helped. But seeing uncle Harry, Adrian popped in my mind like Flash runs.

I then cooked some dinner for uncle along with breakfast which Brit made. Her special lasagna.

We then left to my place. We helped Jess unpack her stuff and they left. I went straight to bed without the fear of devils and any paranoid.

I took out Adrian's hoodie and wore it and slumped on my bed hugging myself sobs escaped my mouth.

"why would you do this? How could you?" I sobbed even more.

"Fahad too. What will I do without those two idiots."

"Did you not think about Maa? What would she feel if she knew this?"

"Sweety get up." my mom woke me up by caressing my cheeks.

I hummed in response. I woke up and got ready for school. I did not have the mood to go but I had to at-least to keep my mind off this thing.

"Hey" it was Jake.

"Hi. Umm thank you for uh looking after me." I smiled.

"That's nothing. But I got kicked out of the med room once Dan came. So, i wasn't.."

"Yeah that is fine." I waved in front of him. Then there was an awkward silence.

"You're ready for the test?" he asked breaking the silence.

"Wait, wh-what test?" I asked shocked.

"Calculus." He said.

"Fucking great."

"She informed it like a month ago." I groaned.

"I'm going to fail."

"I could help." I jumped with glee.

"But, on one condition." He smirked.

"And what's that?"

"You going to have dinner with me tonight."

"Nope. I'm not going on a date with you." I said almost immediately.

"It is not a date. Just a return back for the help." He smiled cheekily.

"Okay. Just because you're helping me." I smiled.

He sat infront of me for the test and he showed me the answers and I answered some wrong ones so as to not get caught. Because she knows how bad I am at calculus.

"Thank you so much, Jake." I said with my hands on my chest.

"That's not a problem. But remember your promise. "

"Yup." I said, but was nervous as hell.

"Sayonara" he said saluting a little.
