CHAPTER 18

Adrian dropped me at my place and left but not before giving yet another mind blowing, panty dropping kiss.

When I entered Jake stood infront of me smiling.

"I guess it went well." He said.

"Oh yeah. Very well."

"Yeah the hicky speaks for itself." Brit teased.

What. Oh shit. He never told me.

"I am going to sleep you guys." I said running to my room.

I changed to Adrian's hoody and took out the book from my locker.

As I started reading I fell in love with all those memories again. It was so beautifully written and the pictures were like cherry on top.

I loved every bit of it; I laughed, cried, agreed and disagreed. Then came the part where he confessed how much he loves me.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you for all the times you were there with me Al. You put me before yourself and were always there for me when needed. You made me fall in love with myself when I started to hate me just because my mom left me for some work. You helped me overcome my nightmares and always stayed; made sure that I know that no one is ever going to leave me.

You were there when my mom came back; you helped me in accepting her. I am happy I did. I love her a lot and I forgave her the moment she walked in.

I just wanted to tell that among all these things my feelings for you grew and I could not imagine a life without you. I realised I was falling for you and when the thing with Simon happened. I could not sleep for days. I was always paranoid and making sure you were asleep and safe at home. I still can't believe he got out so easily and still irritated you. But that is in the past for now and if he ever comes back, I am going to kill him.

Back to my feelings. I don't know how to tell you. Okay, you don't have to reciprocate the feeling. I know that you don't feel anything as such towards me. But I wanna assure you that it would not affect our friendship.

I love you Alexis. Always have. I am in love with you. No one can ever change the way I feel about you.

I love you Alexis Carter. I wanted to tell this to you on your birthday but chickened out.

I was in tears. I wish I would have read it before. The time he gave me. I was so lazy.

I called Brit and Nat to my room and told them everything.

Like Ross tells in friends, "Girls talk." Yes we do.

"You are right Lex. If you both would have told it and his leaving would have had a huge impact. It is good that what happened happened. Be happy and go to sleep peacefully." Brit said.

"Yeah. Talk to him tomorrow." Nat said.

"Yeah. How was your date with Fahad?"

"I don't kiss and tell."

"You bitch." Brit and I said at the same time.

This was the only night were we three spoke so much after such a long time and we were not gonna leave it.

We slept like we always used to do back home. Splayed across the bed with legs all over the place.

Adrian picked me up from college and took me to his place.

"Wow this is actually beautiful."

"Yeah. Like you." He smirked. I shook my head. On our way he played only one direction songs and actually sang along with me. He even could identify each boy's voice and I was proud.

"Wanna eat something. I have prepared spaghetti. The same way in Night changes."

"You serious."

"Absolutely baby."

We ate and watched "Beauty and the beast" we always watched it when we were together.

When the movie ended we both spoke about how our lives were after he left.

"So, did you forgive me? Atleast now?" he asked.

"I uh.." I said getting up.

"I forgave you the moment you showed up at the door." I said and Adrian looked at me with his mouth open.

"What?" he asked.

"Yes. I was just angry and it had a valid reason so.." I shrugged.

"You little devil" he said jumping from the couch.

I shouted while running all over the house. I ran up to the kitchen and tried escaping while he was chasing me. We were laughing all the way.

I ran to his bedroom and turned around to see him standing behind me. I shouted and slipped on the rug and fell on the bed with him on top of me when I pulled him for support.

We both were close to eachother and I could feel my heart bursting.

He looked at my lips and I licked it to wet the dried ones. Before he could decipher what happened I pulled his neck and kissed him. His hands were on my hips and he started kneading it. I then trailed down my kisses on his jaw and then neck. He pulled me up to his lips and kissed me deeper. We ripped eachothers clothes off. Years of want was crawling back to the surface.

"You sure you want this?" he asked.

I just nodded not being able to form coherent sentence. "I need to hear it Al." he insisted.

"Yes. I am sure. Now get back to business." I said agitated.

He chuckled and landed on top of me. Our moans told us how much we needed this and the love we had. We made love at last.
