CHAPTER 11

"Hey, what's up with so many papers?" I asked Nat as she sat beside me.

"My teacher needed help, I told you he is a part time tutor, right? So, he could not correct so many papers, so he gave some to all of us and I got the most." She huffed.

I laughed.

"So, I made a new friend today, I mean we. Anddd..... Jake seems interested in her." I squealed.

"I thought it would take time for you guys to move on." She joked.

"You people gotta stop making jokes like these." I rolled my eyes.

"So how is she?"

"Ah she ahs curly hair and the most prettiest eyes and her name is Scarlet."

"How did you meet?" she asked interested.

I told her the story and she told the same thing what Dan had said.

"Dan and you are like long lost siblings." I rolled my eyes and she chuckled.

We ate and spoke about loads of things like how our vacation went and others.

"Split it is then?" Nat asked.

I sat on the couch inbetween Scarlet and Jake after Jake literally begging me to do so.

Nat on the side couch and Dan and Brit on their usual seat.

We were watching the movie when I fell asleep.

JAKE'S POV

I begged Lexi to sit inbetween us because I wanted to put some distance between me and Scar. After interacting with her I started to like her more, I wanted to be clear before I jump and she rejects me.

I then felt Lexi's head fall on my shoulders and I laughed. She does this most of the times. If the movie is too slow paced, she would fall asleep.

She started to snuggle and I lifted my left hand and pulled her in. I looked at Scar noticing this but quickly smiled and turned away.

The movie was good, really good and Lexi missed it.

"I will carry her to her room." I said others and carried her in bridal style.

"Sleep tight." I said after tucking her in.

"You could sleep on my room, but the bed isn't meant for two people." I heard Nat saying.

"It is okay. I will take the couch." Scar answered.

Like heck she is.

"Uhm.. you can sleep in my room." I said.

I saw Nat smirking at me and I glared at her.

"Uh.. I don't think it is a good idea." She said fidgeting with her fingers.

"Oh no. No. I did not mean like that." Nat laughed out loud.

"Shhh.. you're gonna wake her up." I slammed her mouth shut.

"I will sleep on the couch; you can take my room." I said.

"Jake." I heard Lexi.

Shit we woke her up. I looked at Nat.

She ran from there. Ditcher.

"Why the fuck are you people talking so loud?" she asked annoyed.

We both entered her room.

"It was Nat." I said.

"Shit, did I sleep through the movie." She looked at Scarlet.

She nodded.

"Shit. Okay you can take Jake's room. Jake you can sleep here. I do not mind." She said.

Obviously, it's not the first.

"Okay." I said.

"Uhm. I do not wanna sleep alone after watching that movie." Scarlet exclaimed.

"Okay. Scar you can sleep here with me. Jake go to your room."

"Goodnight Lex." I said kissing her hair.

I looked at Scarlet her eyes showed a little shock but she quickly covered it.

"Good night Scarlet." I said and went to my room.

ALEXIS POV

"Come on." I said Scar and she got under the covers.

"I'm sorry to have slept like that. I always do if the movie is too slow paced." I said.

"It is okay. The movie was actually good. I heard Jake telling he will make you watch the movie." She laughed.

"Ah. I know he will." I laughed.

"I don't know if I can ask this question to you, but are you and Jake a.. you know?" she trailed off.

I controlled my laugh, I wanted to jump with joy. She was interested in Jake.

"No, we were dating for a long time. But we split. So he is all yours." I said.

She chuckled.

"You like him?" I asked.

"Yes, I mean I am interested in him. While we were talking when you went out, we actually got to know that we had most things in common. He never mentioned about you though. When I saw him kiss you, I was disappointed." She sighed.

"I thought he likes you and the way he cared about you, I wanted that."

"Scar, you have nothing to worry about. We love each other, yes. But only as friends. You do not have to bother about me. we care about each other a lot too. I can tell him to stop kissing me."

"No no. That's not a problem." She smiled.

"You have nothing to worry about, okay?"

"Okay." I could hear the relief in that okay.

"Good night." We both said at the same time and chuckled.
