First and foremost, I would like to give all credit to the creators of "Dear Evan Hansen" for the characters! I do, however, take credit for the plot of the fanfiction.
Next, I would like to mention that this story will include many triggers. This is obvious, I'm sure, from the plot of the original. Each chapter will include a list of triggers that are mentioned. If you are uncomfortable with any topics mentioned, I advise that you do not read it! I completely understand that this is a possibility.
Lastly, some elements of the story will be those that are revealed in the novel version of "Dear Evan Hansen." For example, it is revealed that Connor got his license took after a wreck and that Zoe drives them both to school in a blue Volvo. This is not, however, mentioned in the musical.
