In the end to Karimas relief, she never even played. Vlatko massively rotated the side against Canada. They still won 2-0 thanks to goals from Jessica McDonald and Lindsey Horan. Sam Kerr did have a goal ruled out very controversially. Other than that, the game was boring. As Karima watched other players go their families , she spotted hers waving to her. Not wanting to cause a scene as usual, she went over to them. To her relief, Rami was there. Unfortunately though, everyone else that Emma said was going to be their was, including herself. And Uncle Mahri. Avoiding his prying eyes, Karima picked up her nephew before spinning him around as usual. "You didn't play today Karima." Her brother Adam disappointingly noted. Shrugging Karima told him "I can't expect to play every game. The coach rotated most of the players anyway." After asking her sisters (Yazmin and Maya) how they were doing, discussing the game with her brother in law (Younes) Karima popped Rami down and went to say her goodbyes when she heard an unwelcoming voice. "How long are you doing this for?" Karima turned around to make full eye contact with the man she hated calling her uncle. "Doing what?" Before she could get an answer, a familiar voice came up behind her. "Oh so is this Karimas family?"

Turning around to see a grinning Emily Sonnett, Karima did everything to contain a groan.Emma seemed to notice though and gave her best friend a concerned look. Her family though appeared to be delighted to see Emily. Well her uncle, keeping a neutral expression of course. After introducing herself to everyone, Emily then told Karima that once they got to the hotel, they can take their stuff and be free to go, which shocked Karima. After she left, Yazmin seemed delighted. "That's excellent!" She almost squealed. "Because we've booked dinner tonight!" Karima was shocked. "You what?" She almost shouted. Younes was annoyed. "You booked it Hun. Then you practically begged us all to go." Karima turned to her eldest sister with flames in her eyes. "Why?" Yazmin became defensive. "We've not spoken to you in such a long time. I need to know why you're avoiding us." Karima then looked at her Uncle. "Are you going?" She demanded to know. "Of course." He smirked back. "I've got questions to ask as well."
Looking at her family one last time she muttered "How do you guys manage to ruin everything?" Before storming out.
