Eddy was lost in score reading when he heard rustling outside the door. He checked the time on his phone. 02:13. Not completely unreasonable.

"Eddyyyyyhhhh," he heard from the hallway followed by giggles and a soft thump just moments later. "Are you eve' home, eh?"

He stood up and shuffled out into the hallway where Ray was half supporting Brett while also laughing his ass off at how drunk Brett was. Eddy thought they wete cute.

"Eddy!" Ray cheered when he appeared in the doorway. "Dude, Brett sucks at this bachelor party stuff he didn't even want ANY strippers or anything, like he's so boring?"

Brett slapped Ray's arm followed by giggles.
"Shhhh! Were NO stripper...! Don't want... NO!" he exclaimed, making a frowny face.

"Good to see you had a good time," Eddy snorted and went down on his knees to untie Brett's shoes. Brett patted him on the head gently.

"Eddyyyh you're the BEST boyfriend like... The VERY," Brett grinned, continuing to pat Eddy's hair. Ray kept supporting him until Eddy stood up and let Brett lean on him instead. "No stripper at all actually cause you're the BEST."

"Thanks Bretty," Eddy laughed and kissed his cheek quickly before turning to Ray. "Do you have a way to get home? Or do you wanna crash?"

Ray looked behind him out the door where the car with Jordon, the designated driver for the night was waiting with some other people.
"Nah I got a ride, but thanks Eddy. You're the best. See ya tomorrow!"

Eddy locked the door after Ray left before turning his attention completely to the drunk rag of a man hanging off his shoulders looking rather hot despite the level of intoxication.

"So, Bretty, had much to drink today?" Eddy asked with a snort before more or less carrying him to the living room and dumping him on the couch. Brett giggled.

"Nooo, almost nooooo drink! Just maybe a little, that all. Deffffntly!" he insisted, but Eddy still went to fetch him a glass of water, leaving him to sway back and forth on the couch.

"Drink this, you'll thank me tomorrow, babe," Eddy said, helping him drink it as he didn't trust Brett to hold the glass himself.

Brett leaned back on the couch after obediently drinking all the water.
"Eddy do you think I am annoying?" he asked, leaning his head back on the back of the couch, too tired to hold it himself.

Eddy furrowed his brows and placed his arm around him.
"Of course not babe, why would I?" he asked, kissing his cheek. He could still smell a faint hint of the cologne he had put on hours earlier.

"Cause I'm drunk," Brett reasoned before slowly falling sideways to rest his head on Eddy's lap. Automatically, Eddy ran his hand through Brett's hair.

"Oh, no. I'm probably gonna be as drunk as you tomorrow appearently. Don't worry about it, love," Eddy said, smiling down at him. It was kind of hard to ignore how insanely gorgeous Brett was looking all disheveled from partying, hair sticking up in all directions and yet another shirt button unbuttoned.

Brett turned his head slightly and squished his face against Eddy's stomach.
"I love you sooo much Eddy but Ray was trying to get me to look at the strippers but I didn't do that cause they're not you cause you're better," Brett mumbled, yawning halfway through.

"I'm better than the strippers?" Eddy asked, partly wanting to laugh and partly wanting to blush. Brett nodded eagerly.

"Yeaah, I didn't even look at them a lot at all actually," Brett stated, sounding childlike. "Hope they don't have strippers for you tomorrow though cause what if they are prettier than me and you look at them?? And then? Not want to marry me anymore?"

A quiet, drunken sob tore through Brett and he hugged himself closer to Eddy as the tears started flowing.
"Please marry me still, Eddyyyh... I love you a whole many, actually."

"Bretty mine, no stripper can ever make me want to not marry you. I promise," Eddy said softly, recognizing the tears and the tone of voice only as drunk emotions. He gently wiped away his tears.

Brett looked up at him with big, sad eyes. His glasses were almost falling off.
"Really?" he asked as Eddy reached down and put his glasses straight.

"Of course, love," Eddy assured with a smile, and Brett was quick to wipe the rest of his tears.
"You're the best, Eddy," he grinned, and Eddy couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"If you say so, Bretty mine."

"Am so sleepy," Brett mumbled after a while, curling up a bit, still with his head on Eddy's lap. Eddy combed his hand through his hair again.

"Do you want to go to bed with me?" Eddy suggested, stroking his pink cheek gently. "I'm sleepy too."

"Yes please," Brett yawned, but fell asleep in Eddy's lap before Eddy could even respond.

"I guess I'll carry you to bed," Eddy shrugged and got on with it. Anything for his favourite drunken goof
