Remember When...?

Ally opened her hotel room door, allowing Ben to walk in. She closed the door behind him.

"No text or call? Just show up?" She asked, trying to understand why he'd just pop up to her room.

He looked down at her as she walked past him. He followed behind her.

"Why are you here Benjamin?" She asked.

"You know why I'm here." He replied.

"No. I don't." She exclaimed, crossing her arms.

"Should I remind you?" He asked.

Please do, she thought.

She licked her lips, pulling the bottom one in between her teeth.

"Ben, do you think we should slow down a bit?" She asked.

"Why do that? We're already too far gone." He said, walking up to her.

"Okay scratch that." She said. "How about we establish some more ground rules?"

"Like what?" He said, looking down at her like he wanted to devour her. He really did want to.

"Starting with work." She said, gulping as she looked up at him.

Ben sucked his teeth, rolling his eyes.

"What about it?" He said.

"We can't have sex while we're working." She said. "That means no touching or anything while in the work place. That includes traveling."

He narrowed his eyes at her.

"I don't understand." He said.

"It's simple Benjamin." She said.

"Is it because I won't kiss you?" He asked.

That completely threw her off.

"What? No." She said.

"Then why can't we do it? You didn't have a problem with it the first time." He said.

"Well that was the first time we had actually done that. New experiences don't count." She said.

"It still isn't making any sense." He said.

"Oh my god Ben. Just promise me we won't do it." She said.

He looked at her for a very long while. To the point where she was beginning to get uncomfortable under his gaze. All she wanted was for him to agree with the new rule.

"Fine." He said.

She sighed in relief.

"Since you're so concerned about this, I should emphasize on one rule a little more." He said.

"What rule?" She asked.
