Ally

Beep....beep....beep....beep....beep....beep....beep....

I wish that sound would stop. It's really annoying. I could only groan in frustration.

"Nurse!"

The fuck? Why is there someone calling for the nurse? First of all, where am I for them to be calling for a nurse in the first place?

I flutter my eyes open slowly, seeing a man above me. With a damn mini flashlight in my face. Opening my eyes completely, I stare straight ahead at the ceiling. It definitely doesn't look like my room ceiling.

"She's okay." He exclaims.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. He walks away from me for a second. I try to sit up, but I feel a sharp pain in my stomach.

Where's my baby?

I immediately start to panic, the beeping sound increasing as I do.

"Woah woah woah, Ally relax." The male nurse exclaims, running back over to me.

I whimper in response because I can't find any words at the moment. It feels as though my voice is gone. I'm actually a little scared to talk.

"Ally?" My mom exclaims, coming to my side. "Ally honey, relax."

I pant heavily as I look down at my stomach. It's not as big anymore.

"Hey, shhh. Calm down." My mom soothes, running her hand over my head. "It's alright."

I swallow to get some source of lubricant in my throat before speaking. "Mom?"

"Yes baby?" She replies.

I look down at my stomach in hopes that she got the message. She gave a small smile and kissed my forehead. She then stood straight again, and moved to the side. There I saw a cradle, with a little boy sleeping in it.

"What....happened?" I ask, swallowing again.

"Your blood pressure dropped and you fainted at the arena. You were rushed to the hospital immediately. They performed an emergency C-section on you to get the baby out to prevent any further injury to yourself or the baby." She explained.

I frown at that.

"Scared the shit out of us, Ally." She said. "We thought we lost you for a second."

I give a small smile. "I'm okay mom."

She smiled back at me.

"There's a few people here for you. Do you want me to bring them in?" She asked.

I nod. Before she went to the door, I asked her if she could give me the baby. She went to pick him up, kissing his forehead before bringing him over to me. The nurse inclined my bed so I was sitting up. My mom placed the boy in my arms and I felt instant love and joy. He was so handsome. And it didn't occur to me that he had no name until the nurse left the room.

I play around with his sleeping features for a while, before sighing in content. It was in that moment I decided that I'd do anything for him. He was my world and I was going to make sure he knew that every single day.

Soon I saw Tobias, Matisse, Joel and Ben walk in. I gave them a small smile as they entered, my parents behind them.

"Is this the boy? He doesn't have a name yet, right?" Tobias asked.

I giggle. "No. Not yet."

"What are you thinking of naming him?" Joel asked.

I look down at him, smiling when a name came to mind. "Liam."
