I exit my car.
I scan my ID at the front door.
"Access granted." The automated voice speaks.
I enter the building. My boots slam onto the ground as I walk.
A familiar face meets my eyes.
"Jackson!" Namjoon's face brightens once he sees me. "Jinyoung! Jack is back!"
Jinyoung emerges out of the locker room.
He smiles.
The smile drops as he examines my face.
Namjoon's face grows sad as he stares at me.
They understand why I've been gone for so long.
They understand that I'm...freed.
"Jackson..." Jinyoung hugs me.
Mark...
Sad tears leave my eyes.
"That's not fair man." Namjoon joins the hug.
Namjoon and Jinyoung hug me in the corridor of the factory's employee hallway. They hug me as I cry.
It isn't fair.
Life will never be fair.
