5:25am
"His vitals are stabilizing. He should be able to walk in about two weeks." The doctor talks to my aunt.
Her eyes are puffy and sad.
The act she puts up is superb.
It disgusts me.
"Woah! You can't get up Jackson!" The doctor stops me as I attempt to sit up.
I look at the IV bag and watch the clear tube run into my arm.
The bandages, the heart monitor, it's a hospital.
I yank the IV out of my veins and get out of the bed.
"Jackson!" The doctor tries to lay me back in my bed but I push him away.
"Kill me." I whisper weakly.
"What?" He stares down at me confused.
What is there to be confused about?
"Kill me!" I fall off of the bed and hit my head against the wall. I hit the wall with my fists and my head.
I can't do this anymore.
"We need more help!" The doctor tries to stop me but I resist.
I feel my stitches opening in my stomach. I scream as 10 doctors crowd me and hold me down.
My blood forms a pool around them as they frantically cut open my gown.
"Get him onto the gurney! We have to do an emergency surgery."
"No!" I scream loudly. I've never screamed with words until today.
Who knew my depression could get this bad?
They wrestle with me. They try their hardest to get me onto the gurney. Rubber straps wrap around my body as I continue to resist.
"Ja-" My aunt reaches for me.
"No ma'am!" The doctor slaps her hand away.
"He needs serious mental help! Why would you let him get this deep into the gutter? He's like a lost leaf underneath millions of other leaves, there's no way to detect where the leaf is. It's unidentifiable."
"Your nephew is losing himself and it seems to me that you don't care." The doctor glares at me aunt.
She stares at him with wide eyes.
My aunt runs so fast, I don't even realize her hands going into her purse and pulling out the gun.
"Ma'am!" The doctors scream.
"Die!" A sharp pain strikes my chest.
The nurses and doctors around me jump and shrivel in fear.
"Die Jackson! Don't come back! Die!" She screams as I feel more sharp pain on various parts of my body.
"Security!" The doctors scream as they frantically apply pressure to my numbing body.
My aunt Mimi. Mimi Wang.
She shot me....10 times.
"Hurry!" The doctors push the gurney with unbelievable speed.
I feel my body getting weaker by the second. My eyes becoming heavier than they already are.
In the distance, my aunt is tackled to the ground by police officers. The gun she was holding slides down the hallway.
Such an evil woman.
Doors bursts open and a mask is placed over my nose and mouth.
And instantly, everything turns into darkness.
