6:30pm

Today is our two-year anniversary.

Two years of knowing each other.

"Two years!" Mark cheers happily.

Even though he's been on bed rest for the past few weeks and he's slept more than he could talk, today Mark musters as much energy as he possibly can.

Because I want to make today special, I light candles around the dining table and pour the nice, green smoothie into two glass cups.

Mark snorts as I hand him one of the cups.

"You're going to drink this?"

"Oh yeah." I take a sip of the earthy smelling, green liquid. Oh, that's nasty.

"Delicious." I smirk.

Mark laughs.

"You're funny, Jackson." Mark sips the smoothie aswell. He gags from the crude taste.

It honestly tastes like earth and ass.

But I am a good man. I drink the entire cup and so does Mark.

"That was awful. Blegh!" Mark groans.

"Truly terrible." I groan too.

I rise from the dinner table and go into the living room. After turning the volume knob on the stereo up and inserting my CD into the player, soft, slow music begins to fill our house.

Mark smiles from his spot by the table.

Even when we both are in our pajamas, I ask for Mark's hand as if we are in a fancy ball.

Mark takes my hand. His bunny slippers match his white pajamas. My plain black slippers match my black pajamas.

"Shall we dance?" I ask with a smile.

"Yes, we shall." Marm giggles as he wraps his arms around my neck. I place my hands on his slim waist.

We dance together in our candlelit living room.

Our hips sway to the soft music. Mark and I stare into each other's eyes, we become lost. I'm lost in Mark's vibrant, mesmerizing eyes, Mark is lost in my dark, bottomless eyes.

Slowly, our faces inch closer to each other. My lips press against Mark's. We passionately kiss as we continue to dance to the gentle beats coming from the speakers.

The kiss breaks and Mark giggles as he happily stares at me.

I spin Mark into a circle and I catch him before he can fall. His arm is slinged around my neck and his leg is in the air.

"So clichè!" Mark laughs.

I laugh too.

Our dance soon ends once Mark gets tired.

We lay in bed. Mark's in his favorite spot between my legs and my back is against the headboard.

Mark hugs a pillow in his arms.

"Tonight was fantastic." Mark smiles up at me.

"I'm glad." I rub his flat stomach gently.

Mark stares at me for a moment. No smile, no expression really. It's like he wants to tell me something but he doesn't want to.

"What?" I ask, worried.

"I love you." Mark kisses my cheek and snuggles into my chest.

"I love you too." I caress his soft, black hair.

I watch as he drifts to sleep. I admire how small he looks against my chest. I hear his faint breathing. I smell his sweet scent.

I remember it all.

I won't forget today.

As Mark sleeps, I snap a picture of him sleeping. It's my favorite picture to behold.

His beautiful sleeping face, his white pajamas, it's adorable. Sadly...

It's the last picture I can take of Mark.
