CHAPTER 29

NAMULSA AKO habang pinagmamasdan ang tatlong babaeng pinakaimportante sa buhay ko. My mother, my little sister Princess and of course, the love of my life, Arriane.

My mom called and she told me to go home. Iyon pala ay inimbitahan nito ang kasintahan kong mag dinner sa bahay. Kaagad akong dumiretso dito pagkatapos ng misyon na ginawa ko kasama ang iba pang snipers.

Mula sa kinaroroonan ko ay naririnig ko ang tawanan ng tatlo. Mukhang nakasundo na ng mga ito si Arriane. Well, my girlfriend is a talkative one. Kahit spoiled brat ay mabait ito at marunong makisalamuha kaya hindi malayong magustuhan ito ng mommy ko.

"There you are, looking at her again like she's your everything." Napalingon ako sa nagsalita.

It was Ethan. My mom invited him, too. Kaya kasama ko ito papunta dito sa bahay.

"She's my everything, indeed." I said.

Ethan chuckled.

"You're inlove, indeed. You're not denying it anymore. Dati pa lang alam ko nang may gusto ka sa kapatid ko." Anito at tinapik ako sa balikat.

"Tell me, K. What is love to you?" Ethan asked as he look at Arriane who's busy laughing with mom and my sister. Uh, my girlfriend is really beautiful.

I smiled as my eyes didn't leave Arriane. I can't even take my eyes off of her.

"Love?" Nanatili akong nakatitig kay Arriane.

"Love is when you think about her 24/7. When you can't help feeling just a little bit jealous when she is talking to other boys and not you. When you remember the songs she danced and when you can go to her at your worst. Love is when everything reminds you of her. Love is when you get butterflies just hearing her name. Love is Arriane, D. I won't know about love if not for her." I said and smiled when Arriane look at my direction.

Kumaway ito sa amin ni Ethan. I smiled at her and mouthed I love you.

"She's my everything too, Prince. Please, take care of my sister." Ethan said and I look at him.

Napatitig ako sa seryosong mukha nito.

"Makakaasa ka, Ethan. I will take good care of Arriane. Pangako 'yan." Sambit ko.

Tumango ito at tumingin kay Arriane.

"I hope she will tell you about her condition soon before it comes to worst." He whispered.

Kumunot ang noo ko. I didn't heard him right. Masyadong mahina ang sinabi nito. Akmang magtatanong ako nang marinig ko ang boses ng kasintahan ko.

"Hey, kanina pa namin kayo hinihintay." Anito at hinalikan sa pisngi si Ethan at kapagkuwan ay lumapit sa akin.

Sa pagkabigla ko ay dumukwang ito at dinampian ako ng halik sa mga labi. Mabilis lang ang halik na iyon at kung wala lang si Ethan sa harapan namin ay pinalalim ko na ang halik.

"PDA." Naiiling na sambit ni Ethan at ginulo ang buhok ni Arriane bago naglakad patungo kay mommy at nagmano.

"How was your work? Napagod ka ba?" Kaagad na tanong ni Arriane at ngumiti.

"Not really. I'm dying to see you." I said and held her hand.

Bahagya ko itong hinila patungo sa pader kung saan ay hindi kami makikita. I gently push her against the wall and kiss her fervently.
