Dylan, Dyxon & Brian were having dinner at Dyxon's apartment above the garage after a long day at work. Their conversation went on about each of their lives. Brian talked their ears off about Serena. Dyxon was talking about the garage & his dreams of possibly franchising. Dylan didn't have much to talk about except that he was trying to get into new hobbies to get his mind off of Summer. Everything was going well until they heard an unexpected knock on the door.
Dylan: Don't they know that we're closed?
Dyxon: I got this.
Dyxon got up to answer the door & to each of their surprise, it was Bennet standing on the other side.
Dyxon: Bennet? Come in. Come in.
Bennet: Hey, Uncle Dyxon, Cousin Dylan, Brian...
Dylan waved at Bennet then looked over at Brian who looked completely upset.
Brian: What are you doing here?
Bennet: Thought I'd travel this side of the coast to see my favorite brother.
Dylan: Well, it's good to see you again.
Dyxon: Yeah, Christmas was too short of a time.
Brian got up to bring his dishes into the sink hoping to avoid Bennet. Bennet couldn't help but notice Brian's attempts to avoid him.
Bennet: Will you stop moving & talk to me?
Brian: Why now? Why'd you wait one whole year? You saw me during Christmas. Why not then?
Bennet: Because... I wasn't ready then. And I didn't want to then. But I want to now. This past year taught me & allowed me to realize that I need you. I need family.
Dyxon came up behind Bennet & patted his back.
Dyxon: Well, we're here for you, Bennet.
Bennet: Thanks, Uncle Dyxon.
Dylan: You're welcome to stay at the apartment, Bennet. We only have 2 rooms, but we have a really comfortable couch.
Bennet: A couch is more than enough, but only it Brian's ok with that.
Krystal & Nat stopped by Summer's place since they haven't seen her in the past couple of days. Krystal had promised Jay to take care of Summer while he was deployed. She had to keep her word. Nat enjoyed getting to know her & truly considered Summer a new friend. They were both a bit worried for her. She wasn't answering the door so they called her. Summer rolled over as her phone vibrated on the nightstand. Her arm stretched over while her face remained buried in the pillow. She finally lifted her head to see who was calling. The screen read: Krystal. She answered her phone & her voice sounded a bit groggy.
Summer: Hello?
Krystal: Hey Summer, I got off a bit early today & Nat & I were wondering if you wanted to grab an early dinner.
Summer: No thanks, I'm not hungry.
Krystal: Did I wake you?
Summer: Kinda...
Nat: Give me the phone... Hello, Summer? Babe, there's a Sephora sale going on today. You interested?
Summer: No thanks, Nat. Look you guys, I'm fine. I just don't feel like getting up today.
Krystal: Unacceptable... We're coming in. I need to make sure you're eating.
Krystal took out her extra key to the house & she & Nat marched up the stairs & straight into Summer's room. Krystal pulled the covers off of Summer. Nat covered his mouth at how messy the room was & how hot a mess Summer looked. Her hair was disheveled & she looked like she was starting to blend in with the wrinkly bed sheets beneath her.
Nat: Honey...
Summer: You guys!!
Krystal: Uh uh, girl. You get your ass in the shower this moment. I'm going to make you some coffee & Nat is going to pick out an outfit for you to wear.
Krystal: Something casual, Nat.
Nat: Ok, I'm thinking casual & comfy with a hint of sexy.
Krystal: Perfect!
Krystal pushed Summer into the bathroom & headed downstairs to make some coffee. Nat raided the closet to find an outfit for Summer. Just as Nat found the perfect outfit for Summer, Krystal was making her way upstairs with a tray of coffee & other food she was able to scrounge up. Summer opened the bathroom door & the steam came out as the door flung open. Summer felt refreshed.
Summer: Ah... that was amazing.
Summer was making her way back to the bed. Krystal set the tray down on the nightstand & quickly pulled Summer away from the bed.
Krystal: Oh no you don't!
Nat: You gotta get dressed, Missy...
Summer: Where are we going?
Krystal: We're gonna bring you to our meeting.
Summer: Meeting?
Nat: They're gonna love you.
