Devon & Jay were suiting up for the day & they were looking at the calendar hanging in their locker room.  Devon grabbed a marker & crossed off another day & let out a sigh. He placed the marker back down & grabbed his cover.

Devon: Man, can't believe it's only been a couple weeks since we shipped out.
Jay: I know what you mean. This is gonna be a long tour.
Devon: Rumor has it that we might get internet privileges at the end of the month.
Jay: I hope the rumors are true. I can't stand not seeing Summer. It's harder this time around knowing there's someone back home.

Devon gave Jay a pat on the back.

Devon: Hang in there, man. I know Krystal is watching out for her.
Jay: Thanks, man. I really appreciate it.

Jay finished lacing up his boots while looking at a picture of Summer in his locker. He gained his composure & closed his locker before heading out.

Summer was at home & getting that cabin fever feeling of being stuck in that big house by herself. She was lonely. She was bored. She tried to stay busy all day so she started to tidy up. She decided to call Nat to see what he was up to. He was already on his way to get his nails done & he invited Summer to meet up with him. Summer met up with Nat & they chatted it up while getting their manicures & pedicures.

Nat: This place is the best. I've been coming here since I moved to Virginia.
Summer: Nice. Hey thanks for letting me tag along.
Nat: Of course! What were you up to the whole day?
Summer: Not much. I was thinking of getting a job on base.
Nat: I'll keep an eye out & let you know if I hear of any. Let me know if you wanna give dog walking a try. You can totally make a career out of it.
Summer: You're a dog walker.
Nat: Among many things.

A lady walks by & hands Nat & Summer mimosas.
Summer picks the glass up & holds it up to her lips to take a sip.

Summer: This is refreshing.
Nat: What'd I tell you? This place is the best.
Summer: Yup.

Nat gave instruction to his manicurist about how he wanted his nails to be. Summer waited until he was finished to strike up a deeper conversation with him.

Summer: Hey Nat, when did you know?
Nat: When did I know that I liked guys?

Both laugh.

Summer: No, I mean when did you know that George was the one?
Nat: Sweetie, are you having second thoughts about Jay?
Summer: No, I'm not. I just want to be sure he's not having second thoughts about me. Moving here & moving in with Jay are the two biggest commitments I've ever made. I just want to make sure I'm not making a mistake.
Nat: Summer, do you have any idea how much this man loves you?
Summer: I know he loves me.
Nat: He's crazy about you. Before you moved here, it was all "Summer this..." or "Summer that...". We all knew who you were before you got here. And I heard you're the one who popped his cherry & the only one at that.
Summer: What?! That can't be.
Nat: That's the word on the street, babe. But to answer your question. I knew that George was the one when I didn't want to be with anyone else. He was enough. He is all I need.
Summer: Thanks, Nat.
Nat: Anytime.

Bennet was getting to know his way around town & was getting to know Serena. Brian didn't like how close he was getting to her. Bennet would place his hand in the small of Serena's back. He was always carrying her books. "That's supposed to be me...", Brian thought. Serena didn't think anything of Bennet's flirtatious advancements. She just thought he was being nice. Brian & Serena were looking over their syllabuses in the school library, a place where a Bennet would never visit. Brian took advantage of the moment to talk to Serena.

Brian: Serena, you should probably know something about Bennet.
Serena: What's that?
Brian: He's just bad news.
Serena: Is someone a little jealous?
Brian: That's not what this is. I'm sincerely warning you about him. I don't like how close you guys are getting.
Serena: Oh calm down, Brian. We're just friends. And why are you worried about me?
Brian: I'm just looking out for you?
Serena: And why is that? Aren't I capable of looking out for myself?
Brian: Yes, but...
Serena: Thanks for worrying about me, but you don't have to.
