Chapter 34: Hold On

Chloe's POV:

I was just in my room snuggling next to Felix. Yeah, my mom knows that's why the door had to be left wide opened. He was playing with my hair and I was just using my phone. I suddenly get a call and I quickly answer it, it was from Mel's Mother

"Hello? Mrs. Skye?" I ask "Mel got hit by a car!!" She said sobbing a bit "What?!?" I said getting of of Felix while holding my forehead making him look at me in shock and getting up to see if I'm ok "A-at first she just went to Leah's house and then after 45 min. of her being gone, I got a call from the hospital that she is injured really bad!!"
She said starting to cry again

"Ok Mrs. Skye, I'll be right over at the hospital" I tell her "Okay" she says and ends the call "What's wrong?!" Felix asks "Mel got hit by a car and-" "WHAT?!?!" Felix cut in "LET ME EXPLAIN!!" I screamed. He shut his mouth and sat down, he gets a bit scared when I scream

"We have to go to the hospital, ask more from Mel's Mom and find out why it happened" I tell him "How about we ask Leah? I have her number" he says "Okay can you call her- wait, why do you have her number?" I ask him "She texted me by accident thinking I was her younger sister. I saved her number though, just in case of a time like this because I know she is a friend of Mel" he explains

"Okay... call her. Now" I tell him. He nods and grabs his phone, it rings and them Leah answered "H-hello?" She says (Since he placed her on speaker so I could hear) "What happened to Mel?!?" He says making a frown "Felix... What happened was (Insert Everything That happened to Mel and what Leah did to her)"

"YOU FAKE BI-" "Language!!" Felix screamed as he cut into My sentence "oh yeah... HOW DARE YOU RUIN MEL'S LIFE LIKE THAT?! ALL SHE DID WAS TO BE TRUE AND FAITHFUL TO HER FRIENDS AND NOW YOU'RE JUST FOOLING HER FOR THE SAKE OF CASH?!! HOW COULD YOU!!!" I screamed at the phone

"Ch-Chloe? Y-your here?" Leah asks "You got that right!" I screamed " I'm so so so sorry! I regret all and everything I've done!! Please forgive me" she says "I can forgive you but what can you do for Mel? She has the chance of death.... and all those who loved her presence will just stay in pain" Felix told her "I'm so sorry..." she says crying

"What can sorry do to bring back Mel to her ok state? Can that heal her?! Can that help pay the price of her death that may come?!?!?" I say getting pissed because she was crying "I'm so so sorry you guys, I didn't realize how great being friends with her is..." She says "well, thanks for the info. Bye" Felix says and ends the call

I sobbed on the side of the bed and Felix came to hug and comfort me "Among all people they could've hurt it had to be her..." I say then start to sob again. He just kept comforting me "We have another problem" he tells me "And what'd that be?" I ask him "How will Mitch take the news?"

I'm so so sorry for not updating!!!! I went through a lot of trouble just because we had some speech choir competition and sadly we lost. But I will update soon again!!..... I pray
