Ricky and Nini Oneshots!

Rini- skate competition

Ricky is nervous for his skateboard competition and some things don't go as planned. This is post episode 10 and everyone is happy and life is great.

POV RICKY
My skate competition is in 3 hours and I'm so nervous. It just hit me all at once. I have been pacing around my bedroom for the last 15 minutes and my dad has even came into my room to make sure everything was ok. Even my dad hasn't seen me so nervous. It's weird. I'm not usually nervous for tests or exams or anything, but I'm scared as hell for a silly competition at my local skate park. Maybe I'm scared because everyone is coming. And by everyone I mean everyone! Carlos, Seb, Ashlyn, EJ, Gina, Kourtney, and of course my two favourite people, Big Red, my best friend and Nini, my girlfriend and other best friend. I'm so nervous.

POV NINI
Today is Rickys skate competition. I don't know how he is feeling. I haven't seen him all day. Day 1 we have 5 classes together, but Day 2 we don't have any. Today was day 2, so I couldn't talk to him about tonight. But yesterday for day 1, he seemed completely fine. I'm excited though. Everyone from the musical cast and crew is coming! I guess they are all excited to see him because the past few months he has been a theatre nerd like us. So now it's our time to encourage him in something he likes. We are all going to meet at Big Red's, then all drive together in EJ's car and my car.

POV BIG RED
Ok so an hour and a half until his big competition. I mean it's not really that big, but I know he's nervous because so many people will be watching him. If I know my best friend, he is probably freaking out right now. We have last period together and he seemed really nervous, so I told him to skip class and go home and have a nap or something just to calm down. I have never seen him so freaked out for anything. Everyone is coming over any minute to my place to have some food, then we will split up and drive there together in Nini and EJ's cars.

POV EJ
After dinner, the gang is all getting into the cars to go to Ricky's skateboarding competition. I'm not really sure how these things work, I'm clearly a theatre student. Nobody has any idea where to go except Nini and Big Red because they have actually been to these things and they know where it is. I'm just trying to follow Nini's car with Kourt, Carlos, and Seb inside. I have Big Red, Gina and Ash with me.

After about 20 minutes of driving, we arrive to the place. Seemed pretty cool. Ricky was behind the stage or whatever it's called that he performs, or competes in? Wow I'm definitely not a skater boy. Anyways we all sat down and we didn't see Ricky because he was getting ready to compete. I went with everyone to get some seats while Big Red went to check on how Ricky was doing. I'm sure he'll be nervous. I know Ricky can get bad anxiety. He basically dropped out of our production of High School Musical opening night because of Todd, someone in the audience. I wouldn't be surprised if he got nervous for this considering there are 8 of us watching and cheering for him, and none of us have technically seen him skate before other than Nini and Big Red.

POV BIG RED
I told EJ to take the theatre gang to their seats while I went to check on Ricky.

"Ricky? Where are you?" I yelled when I went to where all the competitors were.

"Has anyone seem Ricky Bowen?!" I called out. They were all looking at me like I was on a different planet.

"Ricky?!!!!" I yelled once more. Until this girl walked up to me.

"Ricky just ran out into the back parking lot two minutes ago. He seems really nervous." This random girl said. I have no idea who she is, nor will I ever know who she is.

"Alright thank you" I replied then ran to the back door to see Ricky.

I come outside and see Ricky pacing around the empty parking lot with his head down.
