"What did you think I was gonna do, leave you here to die? Not on my watch." Hoseok scoffed, skilfully cutting the ropes and straps that were preventing Jungkook from moving. The moment Jungkook's right hand was free, he moved the tattoo-littered fist it to his injured side, pressing it firmly and hissing at the pain that came with the pressure. At times like this, a serious injury was the last thing you wanted, so he had to try his best to stop the blood flow.
"I-I didn't mean to do it... I w-was trying to protect them." Jungkook stuttered in a quiet voice, and Hobi cut the last rope before slowly pulling the raven-haired up into a sitting position.

"You can tell me once we get in my truck. For now let's just focus on getting out of here; I can't stand this place any longer." Hobi said, hauling one of Jungkook's arms over his shoulders and pulling his body up from the stretcher. Jungkook winced at the pain, but felt beyond grateful to the man who had now saved his life twice.
"So, what brings you here?" Jungkook grunted out as Hobi helped him walk quickly down the hallway.
"We came for supplies," Hobi explained, "but let's just say South Camp hasn't been our best decision."

"We?" Jungkook questioned as they finally reached the double doors of the medical bay, and Hoseok nodded.
"You might remember Leanne, and we have another guy who's tagging along with us now."
Hoseok said, and Jungkook smiled a little.
"Yeah, I remember her. She's a brilliant pilot."
Hobi sat Jungkook down on one of the seats in the front area, signalling for the puzzled boy to stay where he was.

"I'm gonna grab some medical supplies to treat your wound, we don't have a lot in the truck." He explained, and Jungkook nodded understandingly. Hoseok ran to the medical supply room that was luckily labelled with a large, rusty sign. He ended up grabbing two medical kits, and with hope he approached a freezer, but alas, no sanberries. Letting out a frustrated sigh, he ran back to Jungkook, one hand holding the med kits and one supporting Jungkook around his waist.

"So, what's the plan?" Jungkook asked, and Hobi sighed and shrugged.
"I heard you're a squad leader, so you're the boss." Hoseok replied, and Jungkook chuckled a little, but lacking any humour.
"Was a squad leader, but I would suggest that we be very careful because they're after me. The people here are beyond ruthless. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dragged you into this." Jungkook said apologetically, but the orange-haired male shook his head and got ready to open the door.

"Seriously, what they were doing was so horrible and unethical, I wasn't just gonna let them do that to you. The truck is on the other side of the camp in the vehicle bay." Hoseok said, and Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows as he devised a plan.
"Okay, we've got to be quick. Do you know where your friends are?" Jungkook asked, and Hobi shrugged, exhaling deeply.
"I hope that they'll be back at the truck. They better had be." Hoseok said, a certain and rare darkness in his voice as he spoke.

After sharing a knowing nod, Hoseok pushed open the door of the medical bay, almost running as he supported Jungkook beside him. Jungkook made sure to keep his head low, a hood pulled over his raven hair that fell thickly over his eyes. Barely anyone was around, yet they still tried to look the least suspicious that they possibly could, just incase. After all, hiding was so much harder in the light.

They were quickly nearing the truck, and Hoseok let out an audible sigh of relief as Leanne and Yoongi waved over to him, Kwan barking loudly. But their hands dropped in puzzlement as their gaze landed upon the other man with Hobi.

They were so close, but alas, they knew it would have never been that easy.
"Hey!" A loud, booming voice yelled, and Hobi noticed Jungkook's features suddenly flood with fear as he knew who had uttered the shout.
"We gotta go, now." Jungkook whisper- shouted, and Hoseok snapped his head in the direction of the voice, his eyes widening as the group of men that they saw before was running towards them from the food hall, a couple of other strangers joining them, guns in hand.

"In the truck! Get in the truck!" Hoseok yelled to Leanne and Yoongi, who were puzzled and concerned but knew that this was serious through the urgency in the usually-sunshiny male's voice. Hobi let go of Jungkook, gently pushing him in the direction of the truck as he slipped his axe from his back where he always kept it. Soon enough, gunshots were heard, the sound of shattering glass and terrified screams being heard as a bullet burst through the back window of the truck.

South Camp officials were running in from all sides, and they were effectively cornered if they couldn't drive away right that moment. Hoseok swung his axe in front of him, wincing as the sound of clanging metal rang in his ears when a bullet was blocked by the axe's blade.
'That was lucky.' He thought, but his relief didn't last long as the guns continued firing, and a telltale hissing came from behind him.

"Shit! They've shot the tires!" He shouted to those who were in the truck, and Jungkook suddenly came up beside Hoseok, pistol in hand.
"There's an RV to the right of us," Jungkook said, nodding his head in the direction of it.
"The keys are in the front compartment. Get everyone in there, I'll cover you in the meantime." Jungkook said, and Hoseok turned to him in a moment of panic.
"Jungkook you're injured-"
"Just go!"

Hoseok didn't question his authority any further, screaming at the others to grab what they could and follow him. Ducking behind cars to avoid the enclosing bullets, the three of them finally reached the van, clambering inside in a hurry with the dog at their heels. The RV was spacious, but was converted so that it functioned almost as a large van rather than a luxury vehicle. The moment they were inside, Leanne ran to the back of the RV, flinging the back doors open and seeing Jungkook crouched by a nearby car, pistol raised in front of his face.

"Jungkook, get in!" She shouted, catching the raven-haired's attention as Hobi started the engine. Jungkook ran towards them as the van started pulling out of the parking area, and Hobi got prepared to drive towards the gates, pressing his right foot down on the accelerator.
Yoongi leaned out of the door with his arm outstretched, and Jungkook caught it, allowing Yoongi to pull him in the vehicle as Leanne shut the doors behind them.
"Thanks." Jungkook panted, but Yoongi signalled him to sit on the floor in the back of the RV.
"Don't thank me yet."

"We're all in Hobi, drive!" Leanne yelled, jumping in the front passenger seat as Hoseok floored it, driving at full speed towards the gates.
"How are we gonna get out?!" Leanne queried, he eyes fixed in horror on the wooden gate.
"We're gonna go straight through." Hobi said through gritted teeth, clutching the steering wheel tighter.
"You what?! You're mad!" Yoongi shouted from the back as he clung tightly onto his dog, but Jungkook just sighed, bracing himself for impact in the corner of the van with a hand pressed firmly against his fresh wound.

"It could work, and it's the only chance we've got." Jungkook said, ducking his head low as a bullet burst through one of the back windows and only just missed his head, leaving a clean hole in the glass.

"Just go for it!"
