They all had something to eat, cold tinned pasta most likely, as they continued their journey deep into the night. The city was unapologetically urban, not a plant in sight as the buildings that still stood protruded from the unmaintained concrete. A half moon hung over the cityscape, casting an eerie glow across the dystopian scene as nothing could be heard but the whir of the RV's engine. From the outskirts you could see the skyscrapers that towered in the city centre, their leaning battered frames adding to the caliginosity of the night.

Jungkook had taken some time to patch up the window that a borg had maliciously destroyed, not wanting to give any more aliens easy access to their safe place. He walked up to the front where Hoseok and Yoongi were sat, their eyes focused hard on the road ahead of them. Where they were, rusty abandoned cars were illuminated in the glow of the RV's headlights, sending chills down Yoongi's spine as he remember the event that occurred on that fateful day.

"It's crazy isn't it. How quickly something can change." Hoseok sighed, indicating towards the abandoned city ahead of them, that once was a busy and noisy place full of people.
"Yeah. My old life seems so foreign to me now." Yoongi sighed, earning nods of agreement from the others. The road they were travelling on twisted between large apartment complexes, the walls of the buildings shielding their view from everything but what lay ahead of them.

Suddenly, Jungkook caught something in the side of his vision, turning his head to look at a particular building where he'd seen some form of movement.
"Is something wrong?" Yoongi asked, noticing how Jungkook was suddenly on high alert. Then Jungkook saw it again; a flash of light coming through the unbroken window of one of the buildings. Clearly they weren't alone.
"Hoseok drive faster!" Jungkook tried to shout, but it was too late.

Sharp cracks pierced the air as guns were fired in their direction, a single bullet flying through the front side window and penetrating Yoongi's upper-arm. The smaller male cried out in pain as Hoseok tried hard to keep the vehicle under control, the RV spinning to the side before coming to a complete halt. The four of them ducked, Leanne screaming from the back as the RV was bombarded with bullets, most of them not succeeding in piercing through the tough metal of the vehicle, but the sound was no less frightening.

"Oh my God... Yoongi." Hoseok mumbled in shock and concern, fear laced into his tone.
The blood drained from Hoseok's face as he looked over at Yoongi, feeling slightly nauseous when he noticed the blood pouring from the older male's arm as he tried desperately to put pressure on the wound.
"Shit, this is not good." Yoongi groaned in pain, looking up at Jungkook who had completely froze for ideas.
"Everyone out of the vehicle now! Or we'll come in a shoot every one of you ourselves." A loud voice boomed, catching their attention immediately.

"What do we do? Taehyung's unconscious!" Hoseok hissed, and Jungkook looked back at Leanne who shook her head.
"He'll have to stay here, so will Kwan." She said regretfully, and Jungkook could feel his heart clench as he stood up and slid open the door of the RV.
"Okay," he said in a low voice, looking up at the person who had ordered them to leave with hooded eyes, "we're out."

Just as they had feared, a large rebel group surrounded the van, at least fifteen people holding knives or weapons up and aimed at them. The four of them held their hands up to surrender, waiting for the leader of the group to speak. They didn't have to wait long.
"Well well well," a large man spat, grinning with his yellow teeth on full display, "what do we have here?"
Jungkook looked up at the man with an expression of pure hatred and determination, masking any underlying fear he had.

"It's them." They heard one of the rebels whisper, noticing how the leader's features darkened at the information.
"Step away from the van." Another man shouted, watching as the four of them reluctantly took a few steps from the vehicle.
Jungkook saw that Yoongi was in pain as he tried to hold his arms up, with Hoseok standing worriedly beside him and Leanne shaking.
"Jungkook... Jungkook what do we do?" Leanne whispered, her trembling voice displaying her fear.

Jungkook narrowed his eyes and looked directly at the rebel leader as he replied to her in a quieter whisper.
"We find out what they want from us and go from there."

"Boys, restrain them and take them to the black room. You three, search the vehicle." The leader boomed, pointing certain people in different directions as they complied immediately, the same psychotic looks on each of their faces. Jungkook was approached and grabbed on either side by two larger men, giving him flashbacks to the day where his squad had attacked him. He writhed in their grasp and growled in anger, but their grip was strong, dragging him and leading him into a dark building, the others close behind.

Up two flights of stairs, and they were met with an old, dark door that had about three different kinds of locks on it. A heavily muscular rebel member flung the door open, watching intently as the four they had come across were flung into the room and attached to chains that littered the walls of the room. The four of them tried to fight back, but not one of them said a word, keeping their expressions unreadable and angry as the rebel members left the room.

They all had their wrists chained above their heads, with their ankles cuffed to the floor. Jungkook struggled to free himself of the bonds, but despite his strength it was no use. The sound of the tough metal colliding against the hard stone walls filled the room, along with their heavy breathing.
"Fuck! How do we get out now?!" Yoongi exclaimed, wincing at the pain of his arm as he was forced to hold it above his head.
"These people make me sick." Hoseok spat, looking across at the others that were in the same position that he was in.

"I'm so sorry for getting you guys into this mess. We never should have come." Jungkook sighed, feeling incredibly guilty as he felt that he'd failed to be a good leader, their lives clearly in danger.
"None of this was your fault." Leanne said, her voice still trembling as Jungkook groaned in frustration at himself.
"Yes it is! And I'm gonna get you guys out of here if it's the last thing I do." He said through gritted teeth, his long black hair clinging to the sweat on his forehead.

Before any of the others could object to his words, the door to the room swung open, revealing three men in its place. The man that stood in the middle was none other than the leader, who folded his arms over his muscled form with an unforgiving expression.
"So this is the Jeon Jungkook that they were talking about then." The man sneered and pointed to the raven-haired, chuckling sinisterly as Jungkook's eyes widened and he snapped his head up.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Jungkook spat in return, and the man simply raised an eyebrow.

"Oh but I think you do. You see, some people from South Camp offered us a large supply of sanberries and goods if we were to hunt you down and return you to them. And you've walked right into our trap." He said with a dark smirk, the other two men laughing maniacally either side of him. Hoseok simply scoffed and looked the men dead in the eyes.
"They're lying. South Camp doesn't have any sanberries for themselves, let alone any to give away. You've been tricked." He stated with a smirk, his eyes widening as the leader darted forwards and grabbed him by his collar.

"No one asked you, horse-face. But it turns out that they said they'll provide us with extra if we bring Jungkook's... accomplices." He said with a creepy smile, Jungkook growling and shaking his chains.
"Just take me then, leave them out of it." Jungkook shouted over-confidently, but he lowered his brows as the three rebels simply chuckled at his statement.
"Oh no. It doesn't work like that, kid. You either all come with us or work for us, your choice." One of the other rebels spoke, Jungkook getting angrier by the second.

"We'll never go with you." Yoongi scoffed, the three men now adopting frustrated expressions.
"Well, maybe this will change your mind." The leader spat, pointing out towards a window at a scene that made their hearts drop. About ten feet below, the rebels had found Taehyung and Kwan, and had tied them up with guns pointing to their heads.

"It's simple. You make the wrong choice, they die."
