Jungkook's group had successfully gathered bagfuls of tinned foods from a nearby grocery store, knowing that they were the only foods that wouldn't be expired after two years. They gathered what they could in a short amount of time, the stench of rotting food in the store being close to unbearable as they practically ran through the collapsed aisles.

"Fucking hell." Yoongi groaned as they came out of the grocery store, practically gagging from the awful and penetrating smell off rotting food and meat.
"Language, Yoongi!" Hoseok chuckled, the mint-haired male mumbling an apology as the other two laughed and shook their heads at them.

"This should last us all a while, we're lucky that there was plenty of canned foods left. It seems that this area hasn't been raided at all." Jungkook said, everyone humming and nodding in agreement at that.
"So, medical supplies next?" Leanne suggested, and Hoseok shrugged.
"Sounds like a plan to me."

Jungkook had spotted a pharmacy back up from where they had walked from towards the outskirts of the village, leading the way there in hopes of gaining some useful medical supplies. Such supplies were always scarce at times like this, so they were generally kept for emergencies, but in a big squad like theirs, any injury should and would be treated immediately to hold their advantage in fights.

The youngest winced a little as a he felt a sharp and familiar pain in his knee, rolling his eyes at himself and sighing. The first time he dislocated his knee was when he was little, and his father pushed him down the stairs by 'accident' when he was drunk one night. He hated to remember it, but the pain and the fear he felt would forever be engraved in his mind.

Since then, he'd dislocated it a couple more times, the tissue around the joint obviously being less strong due to his original injury. This meant that sometimes his knee would play up, being achy and sore despite only doing basic movements, which really wasn't good when he had a potential fight on his hands around any corner. Yet by now he was used to it, so he didn't fuss; he'd just have to be careful. It was probably hurting now because of all of the walking they had been doing, but who was he to complain?

Reaching the pharmacy, Hoseok couldn't help but shudder as he peered through the cracked glass window, revealing a nightmare-ish scene on the inside. The room was almost in pitch black, medication falling off of shelves that were barely standing on the grimy floor as marks that almost resembled blood stains spattered the walls. But when it came to blood stains, they terrifyingly weren't uncommon, either from wounded aliens or from people who hadn't been so lucky, ending up at a heptoid's easy prey.

Opening the rickety door quietly, Yoongi took a quick look around and listened out for any sounds, but he couldn't see or hear anything that seemed threatening so he advanced into the pharmacy. The other three soon followed him, almost taken aback at how big the permaculture was competing to the other shops in the village.
"Leanne and I will look for antibiotics and painkillers, you guys grab what you can. Bandages, creams, anything that's sterile and usable." Jungkook said, Hoseok nodding with a 'yes boss' and dragging Yoongi behind him to start their hunt.

After searching for a little while, a frown adopted Jungkook's even features, not having found any useful medication yet. They were yet to check towards the back of the store, but it was completely shrouded in darkness, so Jungkook nodded to Leanne before swiping his flashlight from his belt. Flicking it on with caution, they walked further into the shadows, trying to find what they were looking for as quickly as possible. But something else was quick to catch Jungkook's attention, making his heart stop and stomach sink.

A small but very bright pool of blood was illuminated in the torch light on the floor in front of their feet, the beginning of a trail of the crimson liquid. Both Jungkook's and Leanne's breath hitched as they noticed that it was not dry, but seemingly fresh, meaning that whatever it had come from was wounded yet likely alive and nearby. But when the blood was red, it could only come from a human or...
