Taehyung was the first to wake up that morning, smiling at how he realised that Jungkook was still resting on him, his head laying on his chest. He looked over at a clock that hung slightly off centre on the wall beside the bed, and he groaned as he realised that they needed to get up now in order to be down for breakfast in time. He would have done anything to stay there a little bit longer, but decided against it considering they really had to get moving.

He placed a hand on Jungkook's shoulder, shaking him lightly in order to wake him. As the younger was gradually stirred awake, he began to notice that he was laying on top of somebody.
"Jungkook-ah, wake up. We've got to get downstairs." Taehyung said in his rough morning voice, Jungkook's eyes suddenly widening as he remembered everything that had happened the night prior.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." He mumbled tiredly, sitting up and rubbing the sleep from his eyes as Taehyung chuckled at him.

"For what? Don't be." Taehyung said, stretching his arms out either side of him and releasing a long yawn. Jungkook ran a hand through his tousled hair in an attempt to fix it, failing miserably as black strands proceeded to stick out in random directions. He looked over at Taehyung, who had already hopped out of bed, and sighed.
"Hyung?"
Taehyung turned to the younger, raising an eyebrow as Jungkook usually just addressed him by his first name.
"Yeah?"

Jungkook exhaled deeply, before shrugging and keeping his expression void of any emotion.
"I just wanted to say thank you for last night. You definitely helped me." He said, looking down at his feet as Taehyung smiled a little.
"It's no problem, really. You've helped me loads already, so when you need help I'm gonna be the first to give it to you." He replied, accepting Jungkook's grateful smile before turning into the bathroom to get ready.

They reached the food hall for breakfast fifteen minutes later, and were glad to see that the others were already there there waiting for them. Taehyung's ankle was feeling a little better, but he had been given an ankle support to put on so that he'd be able to walk on his own with as little pain as possible.
"Morning guys, we've got your food already." Hoseok said, motioning towards two plates of warm pancakes and eggs for them to eat. They both thanked them, before taking a seat across the table and digging in.
"Did everyone sleep well?" Jungkook asked, seeing a wave of nodding heads and positive murmurs from around him.
"I haven't slept that well in weeks." Leanne said, winking knowingly to Hoseok who just scowled at her.

"How about you Jungkook? Did you sleep well?" Jimin asked, Taehyung quickly stepping in to answer his question for him as Jungkook looked unsure for a response.
"We were both out the moment we got up there." Taehyung said with a chuckle, the others laughing and saying that they did so too.
"Thanks." Jungkook whispered only so that Taehyung could hear, the older nodding as he understood that Jungkook wanted to keep what happened private. They had almost finished eating, when a familiar woman in white running towards them caught their attention.

"Oh thank God, I hoped I might find you here." Kana breathed, bending down and putting her hand on her knees as she caught her breath.
"What's the problem?" Jungkook asked seriously, seeing that she had made an effort to run all the way there in search for them.
"The Kim's have arrived early, but they ran into some trouble a little further outside the gates, meaning they had to abandon their vehicle and come through the emergency entrance. One of them is injured but he's alright." She explained, eyes around her widening in concern as it seemed there was great danger nearby.

"The camp is protected", she said, "but all of their supplies are in their van which is surrounded by aliens. I was wondering if we could use your help because all of our squads and combat members are out on the mission with my father."
Jungkook looked around at his squad, smiling with determination as they all looked back and nodded towards him.
"Okay, we'll help. Are we able to meet them beforehand?" Jungkook asked, not missing the look of relief on the woman's face.

"Of course, thank you so much. Follow me, they're in the medical bay." She said, Jungkook signalling for the others to follow as they all abandoned the table and leapt up to follow her.
They all jogged to the medical bay, wanting to be as quick as possible so that it wouldn't increase the possible danger that could be waiting for them. Once they had entered a specific room, they saw two strangers. One of which was a handsome older man, who had two nurses fussing over him and bandaging his leg as he tried to convince them that he was alright. The other was a very tall male, who's purple hair was swept over his head like a scoop of soft-whipped ice cream, and he was watching the other with anxious eyes.

Kana went up to the purple-haired scientist, gaining his attention before signalling to the squad that entered the room from behind her.
"These are the people who are going to try and help you." She said, the male looking up and bowing towards the eight that were now standing in front of him.
"Hello, I'm Kim Namjoon, and this is my husband, Kim Seokjin. We're sorry for calling on you, but I'm afraid we've got a huge problem." Namjoon explained, the squad nodding at his introduction, all apart from Yoongi.

The mint-haired male squinted his eyes at the purple-haired scientist, a memory that had been deeply buried in his mind suddenly rising to the surface.
'That's the crazy scientist that tried to warn me on impact day! Damn.' Yoongi thought to himself, snapping out of his thoughts so he could listen to what they wanted to say.

Jimin raised his eyebrows and turned his head secretly towards Taehyung.
"You never told me they were husbands." He said in a hushed whisper, Taehyung shrugging and leaning towards the blonde-haired male.
"I didn't even know they were together, let alone married." He replied quietly, Jimin tilting just head to the side at his remark.
"Not that it matters." Jimin added, Taehyung just shaking his head and rolling his eyes, his motions as minimalistic as possible.

"What do you need us to do?" Jungkook questioned, standing at the front of the group, and Namjoon now recognised him as the leader.
"Wait, he's their leader?!" Seokjin questioned incredulously from the side as his gaze settled upon the youngest, and the others rolled their eyes.
"Yeah, he is, and why does it matter?" Taehyung growled as he took a step forwards, and he would have gone further if Jungkook didn't sigh and put an arm across his chest to stop him from moving towards the stranger.

"Look, if you want us to help you you've gotta cooperate with us and tell us what you need." Jungkook stated firmly, the two scientists sighing as they nodded knowingly to each other.
"We need our van. It has months of work and supplies in it, and if anything happens to it we're screwed. The medical and biological equipment we have is priceless, straight from North camp. But about half a kilometre from here we were attacked by a cluster and had to abandon it. I can guarantee that the aliens are still there." Namjoon said, pacing in frustration as he thought of what could have happened to the van.

"If we wait any longer they'll destroy the van, and everything in it." Seokjin said with a groan.
"What species of alien is the cluster, may I ask?" Yoongi queried as he crossed his pale arms over his thin frame, and the two scientists looked up at them with a dark expression.

"Draths."
