They managed to tell Taehyung everything that had happened while he was out, and had also explained to Jimin and Yuri what had happened beforehand. The event was still ripe in their minds, but for some it still hadn't quite hit them with how close to death they were. If they didn't happen to run into Jimin and Yuri, not all of them, if any, would be alive right now.

Having reached East Camp within the next couple of hours, the seven of them waited patiently for the metal gates to open and allow their entrance. After Leanne has showed her proof of being in the military to a small camera, loud beep sounded, before the gates slid across one another. A horrible clattering ensued as metal scraped against metal due to the lack of maintenance, but it was an upgrade considering they didn't have to be opened manually. East camp and West camp were thought to be the only societies that actually had access to a stable electricity supply, which was important as both camps specialised in science and technology.

They drove in slowly, taking in the surroundings with feelings of wonder. It was almost as if they'd entered another world. People in long white lab coats scurried around with folders, documents and equipment, their bright white clothing standing out in the dim evening light.
"Someone's coming over to speak to us." Leanne said from the front, Jungkook taking this as his job to introduce themselves to the camp officials. He grabbed his backpack, swinging it over his shoulder, the waterproof black material stretching at all the clothes and resources that was packed into it. Stepping out of the RV, Jungkook was warmly greeted by an older girl with short black hair, her full moon glasses sitting lopsided on the bridge of her nose as freckles scattered her pale face like stars to a clear night sky

"Welcome to East Camp." She said warmly, Jungkook bowing in response to her greeting.
"My name is Kana. What brings you here?" She asks, watching as Leanne and Hoseok also came out of the van.
"Hello, I'm Jungkook, the leader of this squad. We came here in search for the travelling researchers that were due here tonight. Is it possible that we could meet them?" Jungkook asked, and the lady seemed deep in thought as she brought a hand up to her chin.

"Ah, I thought you looked like a squad. You're lucky you've arrived early, because I believe you wouldn't be the only ones who wish to meet the Kims. I'm afraid that word has got around that they got into a little trouble, so they'll be arriving tomorrow morning instead. You're more than welcome to stay in the guest rooms in the meantime though. I can grant you access to three." She said with a smile, offering three room codes to Jungkook who accepted them gratefully.
"Do you own the camp, by any chance?" Jungkook asked, taking the answer as a negative as the girl snorted and shook her head.

"Me?! God no! That's my father. But he's away doing business with West Camp at the moment so I'm just making sure that everything is running smoothly." She replied. Jungkook and Hoseok especially were glad that this camp seemed far more welcoming than South Camp, and better too. The buildings were formed from brick or plaster, and everything from a glance looked very neat and organised. The gravel paths were lit with solar-powered lights, and fire lined the top of the grand metal walls to ward off any incoming cynoids.

"What camp did you come from, may I ask?" Kana queried, Hoseok stepping in to reply this time as Jungkook looked a little uneasy answering the question.
"We had some trouble at South Camp, and they tried to do horrible things to one of our squad members. Some of the others we've just picked up along the way." Hoseok explained, Kana raising her eyebrows as she took it all in.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. It's nice that you're a self-formed squad though. Well, you don't seem particularly dangerous to me, and I've never been too keen on that camp anyway, so we won't let them know of your arrival. You're safe here." She said reassuringly, the others clearly relaxing at her words.
"Thankyou Kana." Jungkook said with a smile, and the girl simply nodded, pointing with a small finger to a large stone building.
