"And we are out!" Leanne announced from the driver's seat, cheers and high-fives being heard from the back.
"Nice job everyone." Jungkook spoke with a smile, receiving multiple smiles in return.
The contrast between the darkness and chaos of the city with the openness and light of the countryside made them all turn and stare out of the windows in relief. Where there weren't rocks, mudflats and mountains, the ground was entirely covered in hues of green, gold and brown, just the sight itself being a breath of fresh air after having travelled in a claustrophobic environment for two days.

The sun was a radiant, all-watching eye, its light creeping into every corner, bathing the whole world in a warm glow  of afternoon light. It's warmth gave them energy as they glanced out across the ever-changing landscape.
"I know what happened yesterday was horrific, but we all got through it and even gained some new squad members, so I think that says a lot." Jungkook said, everyone else agreeing and gaining a new sense of hope at his words.

"Yeah, we're not giving up that easily." Hoseok chuckled with a wink, and the RV became filled with happy laughter.
"Let's not put our guard down though, okay? Hoseok, are you okay to take over driving so that Leanne and Yuri can check up on those who are injured?" Jungkook asked, Hoseok giving a nod and salute with a smile before marching off towards the front, and Jimin rolled his eyes.
"How is this guy so positive? Damn, I wish I had his energy." Jimin laughed quietly, pointing in the direction of Hobi. Yoongi snickered from beside him and rolled his eyes.
"Believe me kid, we all wonder that." He mumbled.

Yuri and Leanne all came over to the group that was sitting in a circle on the RV floor. Taehyung, who had woken up a few minutes prior, was already sitting on the sofa as Yuri and Leanne brought Jungkook and Yoongi over to sit beside him.
"Okay, we need to check that everything's healing okay and such, because any complications now would not be brilliant." Leanne explained, the three guys nodding in understanding as Yuri made her way over to Taehyung while Leanne focused on the other two.

"Hey Taehyung, I'm Yuri. I was an military nurse and I've been told about your condition so I'll be gentle, okay?" She said softly, and Taehyung nodded with a shrug.
"Go ahead." He mumbled, pulling his t-shirt down a little at the top so that Yuri could clearly see his spike stab wound. She leant down to examine it, the large circular incision was now just a smaller deep-red mark.
"It looks like the sanberries have done their job, thank God. Do you mind if I touch you?" She asked, Taehyung giving her permission but wincing slightly as her dainty fingers pressed around the wound.

"Ah." He groaned in pain, catching the attention of Jungkook who sat on the other side of Yoongi. He looked over at Taehyung with a concerned expression, before his focus was caught by Leanne who crouched down in front of him, pulling on a pair of medical gloves.
"Yoongi's wounds are healing well, and I've given him some painkillers for his shoulder, so it's your turn." She said with a smile, Jungkook sighing and nodding and he was instructed to remove his shirt and leave it to the side.

Jungkook completely missed the fact that Taehyung, Yoongi and Jimin were all staring at him in awe as he revealed his muscles that were beyond toned. Well built and defined curves coated his torso in small hills, yet his intimidating build would still be evident even through a shirt as his muscles would strain against the fabric at his biceps and chest. Not only that, but to add to the black tattoos on his hand and wrist, there was a large dragon inked onto his right shoulder blade, and an intricate design of swirls and sharp shapes on his left peck. Leanne had to blink a few times, before regaining focus and examining the healing stab wound that Jungkook had received from his old squad mates.

"Damn, someone works out." Taehyung was the one to cut through the silence with a smirk as he eyed the male subconsciously, forgetting about his pain for a second as Jungkook turned his head to him and rolled his eyes.
"Shh." He hissed, only then taking notice that the others were staring at him.
"Oh for God's sake, I'm not that toned." He mumbled, looking down at his torso and blushing slightly as they all continued to lean forwards and stare.
"Toned?! Bro, your abs aren't toned, they're fucking defined." Yoongi scoffed, Jungkook pinching the bridge of his nose between his finger and his thumb and receiving a glare from Leanne who had told him to stop moving multiple times.

"What do you expect? He's a muscle pig. Always has been and always will be." Jimin chuckled, Jungkook raising his eyebrows at him and giving him a 'really?' look, with Jimin just shrugging with a mischievous smile in response to it.
"Leanne are you done yet?" Jungkook mumbled impatiently down to the dark-haired girl who rolled her eyes as she placed the simple dressing on his healing wound.
"Yes, Jungkook", she sighed, "you may put your shirt back on now."
"Thank God for that." Jungkook said under his breath, the others overhearing and laughing at him.

Once they had all been checked up on, they all went and sat together in the back, apart from Hobi who was driving of course, and Taehyung who had been strictly told not to move from the sofa. His sprained ankle was bruised and swollen quite badly, and his body was practically exhausted, but he was bored knowing that he'd just have to sit and rest all day long. He hadn't even been awake for two days straight! Feeling left out and like he wasn't being of much help but more of a deadweight, Taehyung decided to attempt to prove them wrong and get over there to join in on their conversation and be filled in for what had happened the day prior.

Which was, quite obviously, a bad decision.

Taehyung stood up quickly, immediately regretting it as he was overcome with an intense sensation of dizziness. Forgetting about the pain of his ankle, he tried to steady himself as he stumbled forwards a couple of steps, and he groaned as the pain finally hit him. The moment that Jungkook looked up and noticed what Taehyung was trying to do, he jumped up and ran over to the older as the others didn't really take notice of what was happening, and reached towards him.

"Nuh uh, you're not going anywhere." Jungkook said, catching Taehyung by his waist and gently pushing his chest for him to sit back on the sofa as the older hissed at the pain.
"What the hell were you thinking? You've been told to rest. I don't want you hurting yourself any more than you already have." Jungkook said firmly, Taehyung just rubbing his sore head and looking up at the younger, who was glaring at him.

"I feel useless sitting here and doing nothing. Plus, it's kinda boring." Taehyung whined, and Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at the small pout that had formed over the other's lips.
"Then we'll bring the discussion to you. But you're stuck there until we reach East Camp." Jungkook said, Taehyung rolling his eyes and watching as the others shuffled over and sat in front or beside him instead of further towards the back of the RV, with Yoongi transferring to sit at the front with Hoseok.
"There, happy?" Jungkook said with a playful eyebrow raise, and Taehyung just smiled to himself and leant back, rolling his eyes at the leader.

"Yeah whatever."
