Gonna try and get some of Jungkook's backstory in here to explain for some stufffff
Trigger warning: PTSD and ab*se

Jungkook walked up to his and Tae's room once he'd made sure that everyone and everything was safely organised, and he knew that Taehyung was already inside so he opened the door quietly just in case he was already sleeping. It turns out that Taehyung wasn't sleeping, but he was sitting on the other side of the double bed, back facing the door with his head in his hands. Jungkook frowned and carefully closed the door, before making his way inside, startling the male when he spoke.

"Taehyung, are you alright?" He asked, the elder jumping slightly at his question as he had not noticed him come in. He lifted his head up and turned to look at Jungkook, who met his gaze in concern.
"Hmm? Oh... I'm fine." Taehyung mumbled, swinging his legs round so that he was now sitting on top of the bed. Jungkook sighed and sat next to him.
"Mhm sure. The last time you told me that, you almost died minutes later. What's up?" He pressed on, Taehyung tilting his head to himself and smiling slightly out of amusement as he realised that Jungkook had made a fair point.

"You need to stop worrying so much, Jungkook. It'll do no one any good." Taehyung said with a dry chuckle as he avoided the question once more, flicking Jungkook's chin. Jungkook frowned and crossed his arms.
"Well clearly something is wrong; I may be the youngest but I'm not an idiot. You seem to forget that I'm the squad leader, and if anything is ever wrong, I want you to tell me, or at least tell someone. Otherwise it'll never get fixed." Jungkook said with a knowing look, and Taehyung just sighed, rubbing the back of his neck stressfully.

"I know you're not an idiot, Jumgkook, but some problems aren't that easy to solve. I'm fine, just forget about it for now, okay? I'm just tired after everything, that's all." Taehyung mumbled in a low voice that sounded somewhat irritated, and the younger wanted to disagree but he knew that arguing would get them nowhere.

"Well, suit yourself, I'm gonna get changed. You can borrow some of my stuff if you'd like." Jungkook said, signalling with his hand towards his black backpack that lay at the bottom of the bed.
"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook rolled his eyes as he pulled his shirt over his head.
"I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't." He stated with an eye-roll, Taehyung just shaking his head and chuckling slightly to himself. Jungkook really was something else.

He ended up borrowing one of Jungkook's spare grey hoodies to sleep in, along with some black sweatpants considering it wasn't particularly warm. Taehyung lay down on his side of the bed, feeling as the warm sheets hugged his body and acted like a barricade against the penetrating cold of the night.
"It feels so good to be finally sleeping in an actual bed for once." Taehyung sighed, allowing his head to sink into the pillows as he closed his eyes momentarily, his hands folded over his sternum.

"I know right." Jungkook said, already feeling his lidded eyes begin to close as a wave of fatigue came over him like a tsunami. He looked over at the older, who by now was already fast asleep, hugging the duvet tightly between his arms. Jungkook smiled and shook his head at the sight, before allowing his exhaustion to take over and falling quickly asleep.

"Knife... kn-knife... no, please-"

Taehyung woke up to the feeling of being sharply kicked in his shin, and he winced and woke up with a start, an angry expression coating his features as he turned to the younger who originally lay peacefully next to him. But his cold expression soon softened into one of worry when he saw that Jungkook was sitting up in bed, half-asleep, with his hands shielding his face as his body trembled in panic.
"Jungkook?"
