When she arrived at her office, a bouquet of roses resting on her table caught her attention.

It made her smile

It made her smile. She took the flowers and sniffs it, then noticed the card that comes with it.

The day I met you is the day a part of me was stolen...my heart.
Love,
Atty. Raven Cruz

Tsk! Cheezy

She placed the flowers in an empty vase and put it on her table.

"Si Atty. Cruz po ang naglagay niyan diyan attorney" her secretary informed her.

"Style niya, gasgas na"

Alina chuckled. "Ganyan talaga siya kapag may type siya dito sa firm"

"May pumapatol din ba sa kabaduyan niya?"

"Meron din po pero ... mmm" she pursed her lips, hesitation beats her.

"Pero?" Lea flashed her a questioning look.

"Wala attorney. Wala" avoiding Lea's gaze.

"Tsk. Ayoko pa naman ng binibitin ako" her brow lifted.

"Eh kase ... mas ... may chemistry po kayo ni Atty. Martinez eh" she, then, pursed her lips.

"Matchmaker pala ang na-assign sa akin. Hindi secretary" she smiled.

"Malay niyo attorney" Alina shrugged.

"No thanks"

"Sa 2 months ko po dito, once ko lang nakitang ngumiti yun pero mabait naman po yun si Atty. Martinez. Atsaka malaki din po..." she teasingly smiled.

It widened her eyes, "Hoy ikaw ha"

"Malaki yung contribution niya po sa firm. Magaling din po kase siyang lawyer. Ano po bang nasa isip niyo?"

"Magaling din naman ako ha. Magaling akong humanap ng ibang secretary"

"Si attorney talaga, ang seryoso"

Lea just laughed at her jesting secretary, and pulls out her Macbook to start her day.

She has plenty on her plate. With a hope to ferret out evidence of her case, she went to the crime scene. Upon setting foot at the place she was welcomed by a complete silence settled around the area. It is closed. She asked random people passing by the house and was wised up of its closure right after the crime occured. With no additional evidence, she concluded to leave the vicinity. She's about to do so when her attention was caught by a man standing in front of the house. Maybe he knew the victim. She approached the man and ask him "excuse me? Uhm, do you know the couple who lived there?"
