We're down to three last chapters! Thank you so much, readers! I never thought it would reach this far. It was supposedly twenty chapters as planned but Oh My! I reached more than twice! Thanks to y'all for inspiring me. I'm planning to publish bonus chapters but I'll leave the final verdict to y'all. Tell me what you think. 😉

Daghang salamat!

The days past by in sullenness without them hearing anything from each other. That line drawn between them extends further but maybe it is necessary. It must be what they need for now - space. They both hurt each other but maybe ... just maybe time could patch the broken line in between. That could someday solve the crux of the matter, only hoping a second chance comes with it when that day comes. It's probably a mistake to ask what she couldn't give - trust. Maybe he should be gratified of her conditional love. He loves Lea so much that if setting her free is what she needs, he'd concede. Two days before his flight so he has to finish up the workloads of this week. He filed for a leave of absence at work to spend a span of one month with his mom though Lea has no idea about it yet. His thought of seeing her about it, fades away upon reminding himself of what she asked for - some time and space. It would've been better if he left out of her knowledge. He drags himself to his usual food stop when a familiar woman stands in a queue waved at him.

She stepped out of the line to talk to him, "Sir! Hi po. Naaalala niyo pa po ba ako?"

"Hello. Of course. How are the twins? Isabelle and Nathalia, right?", he smiled upon remembering the little girls' cute faces.

"Okay lang po sila. Naku! Buti naman po at nagkita po tayo. Gusto po kase kayong makilala ni Ma'am, eh. Yung mommy po nila. Kaso hindi ko po nakuha yung buong pangalan niyo pati na rin po number niyo. Maari ko po bang kunin? Atsaka pati na rin po free time niyo"

"Yeah sure. That's great. Bukas? Pwede? Wala kase ako dito the day after, eh. I mean whole month akong wala dito starting that day so bukas lang ako pwede"

"Okay lang po, Sir. Sasabihin ko po kay Ma'am"

He took his calling card out from his wallet, "here. Ano nga pala whole name nila?"

"Nathalia Carmen at Carmen Isabelle po"

Carmen - he knows that name then it ignites an odd feeling in him, "May I know their surname?"

"Opo. Salazar po, Sir"

It feels like a cold water drenched all over his body but he needs to be sure of this. Jumping into conclusion might get him into trouble, he needs to ask it, "If you don't mind, what's their mom's name?"

"Ah eh, Sir. 'Wag niyo na lang po sabihing nabanggit ko po, ah. May pagkaprivate na tao po kase si Ma'am basta di niya po kilala, eh. Lea po, Sir. Lea Carmen Salazar po"

They're mine!? Sh-t! I'm their father at wala man lang akong alam!

He wants to assure the situation though it explains enough that perculiarity of feelings upon seeing them, "So the kids are Fil-Am pala"

"Hindi ko sure, Sir. Kase wala naman pong daddy yung mga bata, eh. Mag iisang taon na po ako sa kanila pero wala naman po akong nakikitang daddy nila, eh" she explains.

"A-Alright. Thank you. Sige. Uhm, tomorrow Saturday morning. Ten o'clock. Just message me the place"

"Sige po, Sir. Nga po pala, ano po yung pangalan niyo?"
