The whole car ride home, Rose couldn't stop thinking about what she had said to Scorpius.

"I can't believe I called him Scorpion King!?" Rose had pondered to herself.

"Where is that from, and why is it so cringeworthy?"

Apparently she had lost track of reality. Her mom shook her arm saying that they were home.

"What were you thinking about?" Hermione had asked her daughter, after noticing how deep in thought she was.

"Oh, nothing." Rose had responded to her mother's question, but a little to quickly though.

"Don't oh nothing me." Hermione said. "It looked as if you were in dream land."

"Maybe I was.." Rose had said as she grabbed her stuff and opened the car door.

Little did Rose know, but Scorpius Malfoy was thinking the exact same thing. But, maybe a little farther than just the comment though.

"She really talked to me. She made an effort to go say goodbye to me! Maybe this isn't a lost cause!" Scorpius had thought to himself over and over again. Then, Scorpius's mind traveled to a scene with just Rose in it. She was perfect. She had this long, thick, curly, (Scorpius hated to think that it was bushy), red hair. And she had little ringlets that framed her face perfectly. She had the perfect amount of freckles, showing her nose and cheeks, and then, her huge, blue, sparkling, eyes. This is exactly what she looked like in reality too. And not to mention who smart she was! Scorpius loved how competitive she was over grades with him. She probably liked to read too. Scorpius loved to read. (Even though Al made fun of him for it sometimes.)

Once Scorpius conjured this scene in his head, he played it over and over again.

He was in love. He couldn't do anything about it. But, he was in love.

Draco had noticed since the minute he had picked Scorpius up from the train station that something was going on in his head.

"What's up?" Draco questioned his son. "You've been all loony since I saw you get off the train."

"Oh," Scorpius said, instantly flashing back to reality. Scorpius put the scene in the back of his mind, hoping to return to it later, then he grabbed his stuff and went on with the rest of the day.

Rose had started to unpack her stuff up in her room. She slipped off her white, high top Converse, (that she may where a little to often), and began to strip her trunk. She kept trying to forget the interaction she had with Scorpius that day, but for some reason, she just couldn't! She was thankful for the distraction of dinner with her family. She informed her parents on anything good that had happened between now, and from the last time she wrote home a week and a half ago. Of course, not mentioning her incident  with Scorpius. Imagine what her parents would think about this! Her, maybe liking the son of one of their sworn enemies! All of a sudden, the scene played in her head again.

"Rosie, are you sure your okay?" Hermione had her daughter again over dinner, as she noticed how deep in thought Rose was.

Snapping back to reality, Rose responded with "I'm fine, I promise."

Hermione knew there was something up with her daughter. She had never seen her look like this before. She knew something was puzzling her. But, she chose to let it go. If she was 15, she wouldn't want her mother constantly questioning her about something.

Later that evening, Rose had went up to her "spot" to do some more thinking. Rose's room was on the top floor of their house. The walls were light blue, with a mandala tapestry hanging above her bed. She had Christmas lights draped across her headboard. And a few posters hanging around, including one of her favorite Quidditch player. And another poster of Harry Styles. Rose loved to listen to muggle music, and Harry Styles was one of her favorites. But anyway, to be more specific, her "spot" was a light slope on the roof. Her large window opened to let her sit at this spot. She always went to her "spot" when she had a lot of thinking to do, while she looked up and stargazed.
